At the heart of IFIS is the File Server Unit (FSU).
The FSU uses a high-bandwidth Ethernet bus to
interface with the Pro Line 21 Multi-Function
Displays (MFDs). Dual channel IFIS is a
prerequisite for Pro Line 21 Advanced.

Accentuating the value of Pro Line 21™
integrated flight decks is Rockwell
Collins' patented Chartlink™. Electronic
charts work seamlessly with the FMS
through Chartlink. As the departure and
destination airports are entered into the
FMS, the appropriate electronic charts
are automatically loaded, including
alternates. In the case of a rerouting to
a new approach and new runway, the
pilot can easily select the appropriate
charts from the Charts menu. This
decreases head-down time and crew
workload while increasing crew
efficiency.

ELECTRONIC CHARTS

IFIS replaces printed charts with high resolution electronic

charts. Through integration with the aircraft GPS, your own
aircraft symbol can be displayed with geo-referenced approach,
airport and airspace charts, allowing flight crews to monitor
actual aircraft position. As a result, operating at night, in low
visibility conditions or at unfamiliar airports becomes easier and
more intuitive. Pan and zoom features, as well as selectable day
or night mode operation, allows for easier viewing.

With a dual MFD and dual FSU installation, system redundancy is

available to support operation without paper terminal charts.
Paperless operational approval can be requested through your
local certification office.

GRAPHICAL WEATHER

With IFIS, pilots have a powerful new tool to help them make
more strategic decisions about their flight plans. Pilots can look
at the big weather picture prior to each flight and during the
flight as weather develops. Rockwell Collins IFIS offers two
distinct weather service options, XM Satellite Weather and
Universal Weather services.

XM Satellite Weather is a continuous broadcast weather service

offered in the Continental United States (CONUS):

> NEXRAD (1 NM Resolution)

> Echo tops and movement
> Graphical and textual METARs
> Graphical and textual SIGMETS Winds Aloft
> Textual AIRMETS and TAFs

Universal Weather, for aircraft equipped with VHF data link, is a

service offered worldwide

3-D FLIGHT PLAN MAP

The optional 3-D flight plan map feature provides an intuitive, Geographic features and Political
three-dimensional graphical representation of the programmed boundaries with XM Weather overlay
flight plan and predicted flight path on the pilot and copilot
MFDs. The viewing angle may be rotated to any orientation
providing flight crews with a clear visual reference of climb
constraints, the VNAV descent path and approach/missed-
approach procedures.

The 3-D map display is easily controlled with the new CCP-5220
Cursor Control Panel that includes a joystick for view angle
adjustment.

Line 21 Advanced. Additionally, IFIS’ flexible architecture allows
for future improvements such as additional XM Weather
information products, enhanced chart capabilities and many
others. With many new features to come, IFIS offers a robust
platform that can continue to increase situational awareness and
enhance safety.

CASP (CORPORATE AIRCRAFT SERVICE PROGRAM)
SPECIAL INCENTIVES
Rockwell Collins is offering a CASP discount program when you
take advantage of this Marketing Bulletin offer for remaining
Rockwell Collins equipment in your aircraft.
For aircraft not currently enrolled in CASP, enroll within 30 days
of placing an order for this upgrade and receive a 10% discount
on the current CASP prices.
Aircraft enrolled in CASP at the time of order placement will
receive a 5% discount on their CASP renewal (in addition to the
standard 10% renewal discount).
Aircraft that enroll (or are currently enrolled) on the CASP Elite
package, receive a once per year $5,000 discount towards the
purchase of new equipment, and unlimited 10% Service Bulletin
upgrade discount which may be applied towards equipment in
this special price bulletin or future purchases.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Unless otherwise noted, this program is valid for orders placed
between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2017, with delivery
requested by April 1, 2018. Warranty period is two years for new
equipment and one year for modified equipment. Standard
warranty does not apply to software.
Service Bulletin purchases should be made through your
Rockwell Collins Service Center. Units submitted for modification
outside of original product warranty must be in a serviceable
condition. If the unit submitted is unserviceable, additional repair
costs may be charged. Modified units will carry a 12 month
warranty. Prerequisites required to reach the baseline will be
quoted separately at the then current time and material rates.
