1. PREAMBLE
The Government of Gujarat, in the Legislative Assembly has passed an act, Act No.2 of
2008 called “Gujarat Professional Technical Educational Colleges or Institutions (Regulation of
Admission and Fixation of Fees) Act, 2007” to make special provision for regulation of
admission in the professional technical education colleges or institutions in the State and
fixation of fees in such colleges or institutions and for matter connected therewith. As per the
powers conferred to State Government, in Section 20(1) of the said Act, the Government of
Gujarat, Education Department by way of a notification had constituted two different
Committees called “Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC)” and “Admission
Committee for MBA/MCA Courses “ to regulate the admission of candidates to the professional
degree and diploma courses respectively. The mission assigned to these Committees is to
carry out the counseling process in a fair and transparent manner. The admission process is
conducted by these Committees strictly on the basis of merit and the preference of the
candidate. The functions of the Committee are as follows:
The Committee shall supervise, monitor and control the entire process of admission to
the candidates seeking admissions to the professional educational colleges or
institutions.
The Committee shall prepare the merit list in accordance with the provisions of the acts
and the rules made there under.
The Committee shall allocate the Government Seats and the Management Seats in
accordance with the provisions of the acts and the rules made there under.
The Committee shall ensure that admission in the Government Seats and the
Management Seats are made as per the merit list prepared and that no candidate is
admitted against the Management seats unless his name appears in the merit list.
The Committee shall perform such other functions as may be assigned to it by the
Government.
Government has successfully launched web based online admission procedure from the
year 2009-10 in association with National Informatics Centre (NIC). From this academic year all
admission to technical professional courses will be carried out through online web-based
process. Online web-based admission process proved to be most accurate, transparent and
time and cost effective.

2. (A) ADMISSION MODALITY FOR MBA
1. Modality for admission to Master in Business Administration (MBA) Course, under Gujarat
Professional Technical Educational Colleges or Institutions (Regulation of Admission and
Fixation of Fees) Act, 2007.
2. Definitions. –
(1) In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires,—
(a) “Act” means the Gujarat Professional Technical Educational Colleges or Institutions
(Regulation of Admission and Fixation of Fees) Act, 2007;
(b) “Admission” for the purpose of these rules, means admission of students in the first year of
the Master of Business Administration (MBA) Course;
(c) “Admission Committee” means the Admission Committee constituted by the State
Government under section 4 of the Act, for the purpose of admission to the first year of the
Master of Business Administration (MBA) Course;
(d) “Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT)” means the entrance test, conducted by the
All India Council of Technical Education, for determination of merit of the candidate for the
purpose of admission in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) Course;
(e) “Help Centers” means the centers notified by the Admission Committee for facilitation of the
candidates for off campus online admission process;
(f) “Professional Educational Colleges or Institution” means a college or an institution including
a University imparting Master of Business Administration (MBA) course, leading to award a
post-graduate degree approved or recognized by the All India Council for Technical
Education, New Delhi;
(g) “Qualifying Examination” means a degree obtained from,-
(i) a University established or incorporated by Central or State Act, or
(ii) any institution declared as deemed to be University under section 3 of the University
Grants Commission Act,1956, or
(iii) any other equivalent qualification recognized by the Government;
(gg) “Sanctioned intake” means intake sanctioned by the registering or statutory body
and/or recognized university;
(h) “Website” means the official website of the Admission Committee to carry out off campus
online admission process.
(2) The words and expressions used in these rules but not defined shall have the meanings as
assigned to them in the Act.

3. Admissions to Master of Business Administration (MBA) Course.-
(1) Admissions to the First Year of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) Course shall be
given as under, namely:-
(a) All the Government Seats shall be filled on the basis of merit list prepared by
the Admission Committee.
(b) All the Management Seats shall be filled by the management of the respective
Professional Educational College or Institution, on the basis of inter-se merit list of
the candidates whose names appear in the merit list prepared by the Admission
Committee.
(2) The Admission Committee shall guide, supervise and control the entire process of admission
of candidates to the first year of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) Course in the
Professional Educational Colleges or Institutions.
4. Seats Available for Admission.- (1) For the purpose of admission to the first year of the
Master of Business Administration (MBA) courses, available seats shall include,-
A. Government Seats:
(i) All the sanctioned seats of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) course in the
Government Colleges or Institutions of the State,
(ii) All the sanctioned seats of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) course in the
aided Colleges or Insti-tuitions,
(iii) Seventy-five percent of the total sanctioned seats of the Master of Business
Administration (MBA) course in the unaided Colleges or Institutions, and
(iv) All supernumerary seats of the professional courses in the Government colleges or
institutions and in the aided and unaided Colleges or Institutions.
B. Management Seats:
(i) Twenty-five percent seats of the total sanctioned seats of the Master of Business
Administration (MBA) course in the unaided Colleges or Institutions, including fifteen percent
Non-Resident Indian (NRI) seats,
(ii) The intimation received, in respect of sanction of seats, by the Admission Committee three
days prior to the commencement of the first counseling program, shall be considered as
available seats,
(iii) If any unaided College or Institution requests to fill up the Management Seats by the
Admission Commit-tee, three days prior to the commencement of the counseling program,
such Management Seats shall also be considered as available for giving admissions, and
(iv) The unaided college or institution shall fill up the Management Seats up to 5 % of the
sanctioned intake from the students of the out of the State, on the basis of CMAT of
corresponding year and inter-se merit prepared in accordance with the provisions of rule 11
irrespective of whether such candidate has applied to the admission committee or not,
subject to the conditions that the student fulfils the eligibility criteria for admission prescribed

under these rules and has passed the qualifying examination from recognized
University/Institute.
(1) For the purpose of admission, a candidate shall have appeared in the Common Management
Aptitude Test (CMAT) as prescribed by AICTE, for the corresponding year.
(2) A candidate shall have passed the qualifying examination with minimum of 50% marks (45%
marks in case of SC/ ST/SEBC/EWS category candidates) from-
(3) Subject to the provisions of sub-rules (1) and (2), a candidate who has appeared in the final
year of Bachelor’s Degree examination shall also be eligible to apply provided that he shall
have passed the qualifying examination with 50% marks (45% marks in case of Scheduled
Castes, Scheduled Tribes, SEBC and EWS candidates ) at the time of admission.
Explanation. - 50% marks (45% marks in case of SC/ST/SEBC/EWS category candidates) shall
be computed on the basis of grand total or, cumulative grade point average as shown in the
final year mark sheet of the University In case of grade points, the candidate shall be
required to produce equivalence percentage certificate from the University.
(4) Notwithstanding anything contained in these rules, admission to the Master of Business
Administration course in -
(i) the Nirma University established under the Nirma University Act, 2003 (Guj. 10 of
2003) shall be granted on the basis of merit order obtained in the Common
Admission Test ( CAT) conducted by the Indian Institute of Management.

(ii)the Pandit Deendayal University established under the Pandit Deendayal
Petroleum University Act, 2007 (Guj. 14 of 2007) shall be granted on the basis of
merit order obtained in the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by the
Indian Institute of Management; and
(iii) Amrut Modi School of Management, Ahmedabad, a constituent college of the
Ahmedabad University established under the Ahmedabad University Act, 2009
(Guj. 08 of 2009) shall be granted in the following manner, namely:-
(a) 50% Of the total sanctioned seats shall be filled in by the candidates who
have appeared in the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by the
Indian Institute of Management, on the basis of the merit order of Gujarat
State Rank obtained therein:
(b) Remaining 50% of the total sanctioned seats shall be filled in by the
candidates who have appeared in the Common Admission Test (CAT)
conducted by the Indian Institute of Management, on the basis of the merit
order of All India Rank obtained therein.
6. Reservation of Seats.-
(1) For the purpose of admission, the seats shall be reserved for the candidates who are of
Gujarat origin and falling under the following categories and in following proportion, namely:-
(a) Scheduled Castes :7%
(b) Scheduled Tribes : 15%
(c) Socially and Educationally Backward Classes, : 27%
including Widows and orphan of any caste
(d) Economically Weaker Section (EWS) : 10%
(2) A candidate seeking admission on reserved seat shall be required to produce a certificate of
inclusion in the concerned category: Provided that the candidate belonging to Socially and
Educationally Backward Classes shall be required to produce a certificate to the effect of
non-inclusion in Creamy Layer in addition to the caste certificate.
(3) No caste certificate shall be valid unless it is duly stamped, signed and issued by the
authority empowered by the Government of Gujarat.
(4) No certificate to the effect of non-inclusion in Creamy Layer shall be valid, unless it is duly
stamped, signed and issued by the authority empowered by the Government of Gujarat.
Such certificate should have validity as per prevailing Rules and Regulations of Government
of Gujarat.
(5) If a candidate fails to submit the certificates as required under subrule (2) within the
stipulated time, his candidature shall be considered for admission under unreserved
category.
(6) If a candidate of reserved category gets admission on unreserved seat in order of merits, he
may be given admission on the unreserved seat according to his preference.

(7) The admission of a candidate of a reserved category on a reserved seat shall be valid
subject to the verification of caste certificate issued to him by the authority empowered by
the State Government in this behalf. In case the caste certificate is found to be invalid on
verification, he shall not have right to claim his admission on reserved seat and if he has
already been granted admission, such admission shall be cancelled.
Admission of such candidate may be continued in case of availability of vacant unreserved
seats, subject to the condition of eligibility of merit.
(8) After granting admission to all the candidates of reserved categories on respective reserved
seats, the reserved category seats remaining vacant shall be transferred to the unreserved
category seats.
7. Reservation For Physically Disabled Candidates.- Five percent of the available seats in each
category shall be reserved, in accordance with the provisions of the section 32 of the rights
of Persons With Disabilities ACT,2016 (49 of 2016) for the persons with benchmark
disability who can perform the academic activities in the respective course. A candidate with
disability shall have to submit certificate of disability issued and duly signed by the certifying
authority.
Explanation.- “person with disability” means a person suffering from not less than 40% of
any disability as certified by a competent medical authority.
9. Supernumerary Seats.-
(1) The supernumerary seats shall be filled in accordance with the directions of the All India
Council of Technical Education, New Delhi and Ministry of Human Resources Development,
Government of India.

(2) The Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme shall be applicable to all the sanctioned seats of the MBA
course in the Government colleges or institutions, grant-in-aid colleges or institutions and
unaided colleges or institutions approved by AICTE, New Delhi;
i the supernumerary seats not exceeding five percent of sanctioned intake of the colleges or
institutions shall be filled on the basis of merit of the candidate, whose parents’ annual
income does not exceeds Rs. 8.0 lakh from all sources of income. These seats shall be
supernumerary in nature. These supernumerary seats shall be available only to such
courses in the colleges or institutions, where a minimum of 30% of sanctioned seats are
filled up.
ii the supernumerary seats which remain vacant shall not be offered to anyone other than the
respective category ;
iii The Waiver is limited to the tuition fee as approved by the State Level Fee Committee
(FRC) for Self Financing Institutions and by the Government for the Government and
Government Aided Institutions. All other fee except tuition fee shall have to be paid by the
beneficiary.
iv The Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme shall be for the complete duration of the course and the
candidate admitted under this scheme shall not be allowed to change the institution or the
course in any circumstances.
(3) (a) Notwithstanding anything contained in these rules, two supernumerary seats in each
college or institute shall be filled by the candidates who are migrants of the State of Jammu
and Kashmir, in accordance with the directions from the All India Council of Technical
Education, New Delhi and Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of
India, subject to the eligibility criteria prescribed in these rules.
(b) Such candidate shall be exempted from appearing in the Common Management
Aptitude Test (CMAT) as prescribed by AICTE.

(6) The Help Centre may retain any original certificate or testimonial which it considers
necessary until the admission process is completed. The receipt of the same shall be given
by the Help Centre. The Such Help Centre shall return the original certificate or testimonial
to the candidate after completion of the admission process.
(7) The candidate who is unable to produce original certificates or testimonials necessary for
the purpose of admission at the time of registration within the time-limit prescribed in sub-
rule (5), may be registered for admission subject to following conditions, namely:-
(i) On payment of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees five thousand) to the Admission Committee as security
deposit by the candidate. If the candidate submits the required documents within a period of
five working days, the amount of the security deposit shall be refunded, after deducting
Rs.500/- (Rupees Five hundred) towards the administrative expenditure.
(ii) In the event of failure to submit original certificates and testimonials within the time limit as
aforesaid, the registration may be cancelled and the security deposit shall be forfeited.
11. Preparation of Merit List.-
The merit list of the candidates who have applied for admission in the manner prescribed by
the Admission Committee, within the prescribed time limit and who are found eligible for
admission under these rules, shall be prepared in the following manner, namely:-
(1) For the candidates who have passed the Qualifying Examination from any of the Boards
mentioned in the sub-rule (2) of rule 5, on the basis of marks obtained in the Common
Management Aptitude Test (CMAT).
(2) The criteria for deciding merit order in case of students having equal merit marks in
Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT) shall be in the following sequence, namely:-
(i) Marks obtained in QT & Data Interpretation section of CMAT,
(ii) Marks obtained in General Awareness section of CMAT,
(iii)Marks obtained in Language Comprehension section of CMAT,
(iv)Percentage of marks obtained in Mathematics subject of S.S.C. Examination (Std. 10 th),
(v) Percentage of marks obtained in S.S.C. Examination (Std. 10 th )
12. Admission Procedure.—
The admission procedure shall be off campus online in the following manner, namely:-
(1) The Admission Committee shall prepare merit lists of the eligible candidates who have
applied under sub-rule (1) of rule 10, after verification of the documents submitted under
sub-rule (5) of rule 10.
(2) The merit lists shall be displayed on the website of the Admission Committee and by such
other means, as the Committee may consider convenient.
(3) The Admission Committee shall publish the schedule of online counseling program on its
website, by advertisement in the prominent newspapers widely circulated in the State, and
by such other means, as it may consider convenient.
(4) The candidate shall be required to indicate his order of choices of courses and colleges or
institutions, online. Allotment of seats shall be made on the basis of merit, category of the
candidate and availability of seats. The allotment of seats shall be published on the website
of the Committee. The candidates are required to obtain the print out of the Information
Letter and bank fee receipt copies from the website.

(5) The candidate shall be required to pay such fee, as may be determined by the Admission
Committee.
(6) On payment of tuition fees as required under sub-rule (5), either online payment or in the
branches of banks as specified, the admission allotted to the candidate shall get confirmed.
The candidate shall be required to login to his account to get the print out of the Admission
Slip. In case, the candidate fails to pay the tuition fees within the prescribed time limit as
aforesaid, the admission offered to him shall be treated as cancelled. Such candidate shall
not be eligible to get admission on same course in the same institute in the successive
rounds of counseling.
(7) Where considerable number of seats falls vacant and it appears to the Committee to fill up
the vacant seats, it may conduct the online admission process for readjustment (reshuffling)
of seats. The candidate, who opts to partake in reshuffling process, shall be considered for
such admission. The candidate may either give option for up gradation of choices already
given or submit new choices. If the candidate gets the admission on the basis of
upgradation or new choice, then his earlier admission shall be treated as cancelled.
13. Fee.-
(1) A candidate who gets admission in the Government or aided college or institution shall
have to pay such fees, as may be determined by the Government, at such stages, as may
be determined by the Admission Committee.
(2) A candidate who gets admission in unaided colleges or institutions shall have to pay
such fees, as may be determined by the Fee Regulatory Committee constituted under
section 9 of the Act, for unaided colleges or institutions, at such stages, as may be
determined by the Admission Committee.
(3) If a candidate, who has paid the fees after getting admission, gets his admission
cancelled within the time limit specified by the Admission Committee, his fees shall be
refunded after completion of the admission process, provided that the seat vacated by him is
filled by another candidate.
(4) If a candidate who has paid the fees after getting admission and gets his admission
changed in another course and/or college or institution in the readjustment (reshuffling)
process, he shall pay the difference of fees, if any, at the time of getting admission or, as the
case may be, shall be refunded the fees after the completion of admission process.
14. Documents to be attached with the application.-
The candidate shall submit the self-attested copies of the following documents along with
the print out of the registration form at the Help Centre, namely:-
(i) S.S.C. Examination (Std. X) Mark-sheet,
(ii) H.S.C. Examination (Std. XII) Mark-sheet or of equivalent examination,
(iii) Mark sheets of all semesters / years of degree (graduation),
(iv) CMAT Score card,
(v) School Leaving Certificate or Transfer Certificate,
(vi) Category certificate for a candidate belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC),
Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC)
issued by the authority empowered by the State Government in this behalf,

(vii) No certificate to the effect of non-inclusion in Creamy Layer shall be valid, unless
it is duly stamped, signed and issued by the authority empowered by the
Government of Gujarat. Such certificate should have validity as per prevailing
Rules and Regulations of Government of Gujarat.
(vii-a) Category certificate for a candidate belonging to Economically Weaker Sections
(EWS), issued by the authority empowered by the State Government in this behalf.
(viii) Certificate of Physical Disability, issued and duly signed by the Civil Surgeon/
competent Medical Authority, in case of a Physically Handicapped candidate,
(ix) Certificate of Ex-Serviceman, duly issued by the Director, Sainik Welfare Board,
Gujarat State or by the District Sainik Welfare Officer,
(x) A copy of certificate of In-Serviceman duly issued by the Commanding Officer of
the respective unit, in which he is serving,
(xi) Passport size Photograph of candidate, and
(xii) Such other certificates as the Admission Committee deems necessary.
(xiii) A copy of valid certificate of income issued by the authority empowered by the
State Government in this behalf, if applicable.
15. Ineligibility for admission on production of false documents.-
During verification of documents, if the Admission Committee finds any certificate or
testimony or information submitted by any candidate, incorrect or false, the candidature of
such candidate shall be cancelled for that year and he shall be disqualified for admission for
the period of next two years.
16. Cancellation of Admission and Refund of Fees.-
(1) In case of cancellation of admission or transfer of candidate by the Admission
Committee, due to administrative reasons, the College or Institution in which the
candidate was granted admission shall refund the amount of fees collected by it, to
such candidate.
(2) (a) In case of a candidate withdrawing his candidature before completion of admission
process, for any reason whatsoever, he may login to his account on the website of
the Admission Committee for online admission process and put the request for
cancellation of admission within the time limit specified by the Admission Committee.
In such case, the fees collected, if any, by the Admission Committee shall be
refunded to such candidate, subject to the condition of such vacated seat being filled
up by the Admission Committee.
(b) After completion of online admission process and before declaration of schedule of
admission on vacant seats, if any candidate who has withdrawn his candidature in the
manner as provided in para (a), the fees paid by him shall be refunded subject to the
condition of such vacated seat being filled up by the institution, as per the directions
of Admission Committee and prevailing rules of AICTE.
(c) A candidate desirous to withdraw his candidature after completion of admission on
vacant seats, for any reason whatsoever, shall have to request in writing in person to
the college or institution in which he is granted admission but he shall not be entitled
to get refund of the fees paid by him for getting admission.

(d) In case of cancellation of admission at college or institute level on the request of the
student, he shall liable to pay the fees for the current semester and no college or
institution shall demand fees for further semesters.
17. Vacant Seats.-
(1) After offering admission to all the candidates whose names appear in the merit list or
after completion of the online admission process, if the seats remain vacant, such vacant
seats shall be filled by the college or institution by preparing common merit list, in
accordance with the directions of the Admission Committee and in the manner
prescribed in sub-rule (2).
(2) (a) The Admission Committee shall, by an advertisement in the prominent newspapers
widely circulated in the State, by website and by such other means, as it may consider
convenient, display the details of vacant seats and schedule for admission on the vacant
seats. The candidates who are already in the merit list of the Admission Committee shall
submit registration form to participate for the vacant seats round as per schedule
declared by the Admission Committee. While, the eligible candidates who have not
registered earlier shall have to register online as per schedule declared by the Admission
Committee.
(b) A candidate who has newly registered or having merit number as per clause (a)
shall have to take print out of the registration form or as the case may be the copy of
registration form and approach the unaided college or institution of his choice for
admission on the vacant seats. An acknowledgement shall be given to the candidate by
the concerned unaided college or institution.
(c) A candidate who has merit number or who is newly registered shall be allowed to
participate in admission procedure for the vacant seats only. The concerned unaided
college or institution shall process the filling up of vacant seats among such eligible
candidates who have submitted the registration form by preparing common intra-se merit
list in the following order and the guidelines issued by the Admission Committee from
time to time, namely:-
(i) the names of the candidates whose name appears in the merit list of the Admission
Committee;
(ii) the names of the candidates who are eligible as per rule 5 and have appeared in
CMAT test conducted in the corresponding year as prescribed by the AICTE and have
newly registered for admission on the vacant seat.
(iii) the names of the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination with at least
for open category with 50% (45 % for SC/ST/SEBC/EWS) marks from any of the
recognized Universities or Institutes situated outside the Gujarat State and have
appeared in CMAT test conducted in the corresponding year as prescribed by the
AICTE;
(iv) after allotting the seats to candidates mentioned in sub-clauses (i) to (iii), if any seat
still remain vacant, the institute shall fill such seat from the candidates who have
cleared the qualifying examination from recognized Universities or Institutes with
minimum eligibility criteria prescribed as per rule 5 but have not appeared in CMAT
entrance examination. The merit list shall be prepared on the basis of graduation
percentage.”

18. Admission to Unaided Colleges or Institutions.-
(1) The Management Seats may be filled, by the management of the respective unaided colleges
or institutions based on the inter-se merit list of the candidates whose names appears in the
merit list prepared by the Admission Committee; Provided that no candidate shall be
admitted against the management seat unless his name appears in the merit list prepared by
the Admission Committee; Provided further that where any Non Resident Indian seat remains
vacant, such seat shall be filled in from the Management Seat; Provided also that where any
management seat remains vacant, such seat shall be filled by the Admission Committee as
Government Seat
(2) The admission process for filling up of Management Seats shall be carried out by the
management of the respective unaided colleges or institutions in accordance with the
procedure as may be determined by the Admission Committee.
(3) The unaided colleges or institutions shall collect the fees, as may be determined under the
provisions of the Act, by the Fee Regulatory Committee, constituted under section 9 of the
Act and such other fees as pro-vided under the provisions of the Act.
(4) No college or institution shall retain the original documents or testimonial of the candidate. In
case of breach of such provision, the college or institution shall be liable to penalty as
specified in rule 19.
19. Penalty.
Any breach of any of the provisions of the Act, these rules or any direction issued by the
Government, the Admission Committee or as the case may be, the Fee Regulatory
Committee, by any person, shall be liable to penalty as provided in the Act.
20. Interpretation.
-In implementation of the provisions of these rules, if any difficulty or question arises as to the
interpretation of any provision, the decision of the Government shall be final.
# Note :
1. The admission modalities and all other information provided in this booklet are purely for
reference, information and guidance only for aspiring candidates. The Information contained
in this booklet is correct to the best of the knowledge and understanding of the Admission
Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) at the time of printing of this booklet and is
subject to change due to several reasons, and hence, the same should not be used for any
legal aspect/proceedings.
2. The change(s) in any rule, regulation, intake and all other modalities of the admission
process shall be publicized and made available on the official website of ACPC i.e.

official version of the State Government and Competent Authorities shall be final.

2. (B) ADMISSION MODALITY FOR MCA
2. Definitions. -
(a) “Act” means the Gujarat Professional Technical Educational Colleges or Institutions
(Regulation of Admis-sion and Fixation of Fees) Act, 2007;
(b) ”Admission” for the purpose of these rules, means admission of students in the first year
and/or second year (lateral entry) of the Master of Computer Application (MCA) Course;
(c) ”Admission Committee” means the Admission Committee constituted by the State
Government under section 4 of the Act, for the purpose of admission to the Master of
Computer Application (MCA) Course;
(d) ”Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT)” means the entrance test, conducted by
the All India Council of Technical Education, for determination of merit of the candidate
for the purpose of admission in the Master of Computer Application (MCA) Course;
(e) “Help Centres” means the centres notified by the Admission Committee for facilitation of
the candidates for off campus online admission process;
(f) “Professional Educational Colleges or Institution” means a college or an institution
including a University imparting Master of Computer Application (MCA) course, leading
to award a post-graduate degree approved or recognised by the All India Council for
Technical Education, New Delhi;
(g) “Qualifying Examination” means a degree obtained from,-

3. Admissions to Master of Computer Application (MCA) Course.-
(1) Admissions to the Master of Computer Application (MCA) Course shall be given as under,
namely:-
(a) All the Government Seats shall be filled on the basis of merit list prepared by the
Admission Committee.
(b) All the Management Seats shall be filled by the management of the respective
Professional Educational College or Institution, on the basis of inter-se merit list of the
candidates whose names appear in the merit list prepared by the Admission Committee.
(2) The Admission Committee shall guide, supervise and control the entire process of
admission of candidates to the Master of Computer Application (MCA) Course in the
Professional Educational Colleges or Institutions.
4. Seats Available for Admission.-
(1) For the purpose of admission to the first year of the Master of Computer Application
(MCA) courses, available seats shall include,-
A. Government Seats:
(i) All the sanctioned seats of the Master of Computer Application (MCA) course in the
Government Colleges or Institutions of the State,
(ii) All the sanctioned seats of the Master of Computer Application (MCA) course in the aided
Colleges or Institutions,
(iii)Seventy-five percent of the total sanctioned seats of the Master of Computer Application
(MCA) course in the unaided Colleges or Institutions, and
(iv) All supernumerary seats of the professional courses in the Government colleges or
institutions and in the aided and unaided Colleges or Institutions.
B. Management Seats:
(i) Twenty-five percent seats of the total sanctioned seats of the Master of Computer
Application (MCA) course in the unaided Colleges or Institutions, including fifteen percent
Non-Resident Indian (NRI) seats,
(ii) The intimation received, in respect of sanction of seats, by the Admission Committee
three days prior to the commencement of the first counseling program, shall be considered
as available seats,
(iii)If any unaided College or Institution requests to fill up the Management Seats by the
Admission Committee, three days prior to the commencement of the counseling program,
such Management Seats shall also be considered as available for giving admissions, and
(iv) The unaided college or institution shall fill up the Management Seats up to 5 % of the
sanctioned intake from the students of the out of the State, on the basis of CMAT of
corresponding year and inter-se merit prepared in accordance with the provisions of rule 11
irrespective of whether such candidate has applied to the Admission Committee or not,
subject to the conditions that the student fulfils the eligibility criteria for admission prescribed
under these rules and has passed the qualifying examination from the recognized
University/Institute.
(2) For the purpose of admission to the second year (lateral entry) of the Master of Computer
Application (MCA) Course, available seats shall include,-

A. Government Seats:
(i) All the sanctioned seats of separate division for lateral entry for current academic
year in the,-Government Colleges or Institutions, the aided Colleges or
Institutions, and
(ii) Twenty percentage (20%) seats of the sanctioned seats of the immediate previous
academic year in the Government Colleges or Institutions, the aided Colleges or
Institutions, and the Unaided Colleges or Institutions,
(iii) The seats remained vacant in the previous year of MCA course and the seats fallen
vacant for any reason during previous academic year in the first year of MCA course in
the, Government Colleges or Institutions, the aided Colleges or Institutions, and the
Unaided Colleges or Institutions,
(iv) Seventy-five percent of the total sanctioned seats of the Master of Computer Application
(MCA) course of separate division for lateral entry in the unaided Colleges or Institutions,
and
(v) All supernumerary seats of separate division for lateral entry of the professional courses
in the Government Colleges or Institutions, aided and unaided Colleges or Institutions of
the State.
B. Management Seats:
(i) Twenty-five per centage seats of the total sanctioned seats of the Master of Computer
Application (MCA) course in separate division for lateral entry, in the unaided Colleges or
Institutions including fifteen per cent. Non-Resident Indian (NRI) seats,
(ii) The intimation received, in respect of sanction of seats of separate division, by the
Admission Committee, three days prior to the commencement of the first counseling
program shall be considered as available seats,
(iii) If any unaided College or Institution requests to fill up the Management Seats of
separate division for lateral entry by the Admission Committee, three days prior to the
commencement of the counseling program, such Management Seats shall also be
considered as available for giving admissions, and
(iv) The unaided college or institution shall fill up the Management Seats up to 5 % of the
sanctioned intake of separate division of lateral entry from the students of the out of the
State, on the basis of CMAT of corre-sponding year and inter-se merit prepared in
accordance with the provisions of rule 11 irrespective of whether such candidate has applied
to Admission Committee or not, subject to the conditions that the student fulfils the eligibility
criteria for admission prescribed under these rules and has passed the qualifying
examination from the recognized University/Institute.
5. Eligibility for Admission.-
(1) For the purpose of admission, a candidate shall have appeared in the Common
Management Aptitude Test (CMAT) as prescribed by AICTE, for the corresponding year.
(2) A candidate shall have passed the qualifying examination with minimum of 50% marks (45%
marks in case of SC/ ST/SEBC/EWS category candidates) from-
(a) a University situated in the Gujarat State; or

(b) a University situated outside the Gujarat State provided that the candidate shall have
passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (Standard XII, 10+2
pattern) or its equivalent examination from,-
(i) the Gujarat Board; or
(ii) the Central Board of Secondary Education:
Provided that,-
(a) the school in which the candidate has studied, shall have been located in the
State of Gujarat; or
(b) the school in which the candidate has studied, shall have been located in the
Union Territories of Daman and Diu or Dadra and Nagar Haveli; or
1. the Council of Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi: Provided that,-
(a) the school in which the candidate has studied, shall have been located in the
State of Gujarat; or
(b) the school in which the candidate has studied, shall have been located in the
Union Territories of Daman and Diu or Dadra and Nagar Haveli:
Provided that a candidate shall have passed the Higher Secondary School Examination
(Standard XII, 10+2 pattern) or Bachelors’ degree with Mathematics or Business
Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects.
(3) Subject to the provisions of sub-rules (1) and (2), a candidate who has passed the
qualifying examination in the stream of Bachelor of Computer Application or Bachelor of
Science (IT) or Bachelor of Science (Computer) with minimum 50% marks (45% marks in
case of SC/ST/SEBC/EWS category candidates) shall also be eligible to apply for lateral
entry admission in the Master of Computer Application (MCA): Provided that a candidate
who has appeared in the final year of degree examination shall also be eligible to
apply for admission.
Explanation - 50% marks (45% marks in case of SC/ST/SEBC/EWS category candidates)
shall be computed on the basis of grand total or, cumulative grade point average as shown
in the final year mark sheet of the University In case of grade points, the candidate shall be
required to produce equivalence percentage certificate from the University.
6. Reservation of Seats.-
(1) For the purpose of admission, the seats shall be reserved for the candidates who are of
Gujarat origin and falling under the following categories and in following proportion, namely:-
(a) Scheduled Castes :7%
(b) Scheduled Tribes : 15%
(c) Socially and Educationally Backward : 27%
Classes, including Widows and orphan of any caste
(D) Economically Weaker Section : 10%
(2) A candidate seeking admission on reserved seat shall be required to produce a certificate of
inclusion in the concerned category: Provided that the candidate belonging to Socially
and Educationally Backward Classes shall be required to produce a certificate to the
effect of non-inclusion in Creamy Layer in addition to the Caste certificate.

(3) No certificate to the effect of non-inclusion in Creamy Layer shall be valid, unless it is
duly stamped, signed and issued by the authority empowered by the Government of
Gujarat. The validity of such certificate shall be as per prevailing government
rules/norms from time to time.
(4) No caste certificate shall be valid unless it is duly stamped, signed and issued by the
authority empowered by the Government of Gujarat.
(5) If a candidate fails to submit the certificates as required under sub-rule (2) within the
stipulated time, his candidature shall be considered for admission under unreserved
category.
(6) If a candidate of reserved category gets admission on unreserved seat in order of merits, he
may be given admission on the unreserved seat according to his preference.
(7) The admission of a candidate of a reserved category on a reserved seat shall be valid
subject to the verification of caste certificate issued to him by the authority empowered by
the State Government in this behalf. In case the caste certificate is found to be invalid on
verification, he shall not have right to claim his admission on reserved seat and if he has
already been granted admission, such admission shall be cancelled. Admission of such
candidate may be continued in case of availability of vacant unreserved seats, subject to the
condition of eligibility of merit.
(8) After granting admission to all the candidates of reserved categories on respective reserved
seats, the reserved category seats remaining vacant shall be transferred to the unreserved
category seats.
7. Reservation For Physically Disabled Candidates.-
Five percent of the available seats in each category shall be reserved, in accordance with the
provisions of the section 32 of the rights of Persons With Disabilities ACT,2016 (49 of 2016) for
the persons with benchmark disability who can perform the academic activities in the respective
course. A candidate with disability shall have to submit certificate of disability issued and duly
signed by the certifying authority.
Explanation- “person with disability” means a person suffering from not less than forty per cent. of
any disability as certified by a competent medical authority.
8. Reservation for the Children of Defense Personnel and Ex-Servicemen.-
(1) One percent of available seats shall be reserved for the children of Defense personnel and Ex-
Servicemen, for admission.
(2) A candidate claiming admission against the Ex-Serviceman category shall require to submit a
certificate to that effect duly issued by the Director, Sainik welfare Board, Gujarat State or by
the District Sainik Welfare Officer. In-Service Defense Persons / retired defense persons
notified by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Police Division-II, Government of India shall require to
submit certificate to that effect duly issued by the Commanding Officer of the respective unit in
which they are serving or were serving just before the retirement respectively.
(3) The seats remaining vacant against the category of Defense Personnel and Ex-Servicemen
shall be filled up from the merit list of unreserved category candidates.
(4) The children of Defense Personnel and Ex-Servicemen of Gujarat origin shall be included
under the reserved category specified in this rule, if they have passed the qualifying
examination from the college or institute located outside the Gujarat State and have appeared
in the Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT) as prescribed by AICTE, conducted in the
corresponding academic year.

(5) The admission on such reserved seat shall be valid subject to the veracity of the certificate
being confirmed by the authority by which the certificate is issued.
9. Supernumerary Seats.-
(1) The supernumerary seats shall be filled in accordance with the directions of the All India
Council of Technical Education, New Delhi and Ministry of Human Resources Development,
Government of India.
(2) The Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme shall be applicable to all the sanctioned seats of the MBA
course in the Government colleges or institutions, grant-in-aid colleges or institutions and unaided
colleges or institutions approved by AICTE, New Delhi;
i. the supernumerary seats not exceeding five percent of sanctioned intake of the colleges or
institutions shall be filled on the basis of merit of the candidate, whose parents’ annual income
does not exceeds Rs. 8.0 lakh from all sources of income. These seats shall be supernumerary in
nature. These supernumerary seats shall be available only to such courses in the colleges or
institutions, where a minimum of 30% of sanctioned seats are filled up.
ii. the supernumerary seats which remain vacant shall not be offered to anyone other than the
respective category ;
iii. The Waiver is limited to the tuition fee as approved by the State Level Fee Committee
(FRC) for Self Financing Institutions and by the Government for the Government and Government
Aided Institutions. All other fee except tuition fee shall have to be paid by the beneficiary.
iv. the Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme shall be for the complete duration of the course and the
candidate admitted under this scheme shall not be allowed to change the institution or the
course in any circumstances.
(3) (a) Notwithstanding anything contained in these rules, two supernumerary seats in each
college or institute shall be filled by the candidates who are migrants of the State of
Jammu and Kashmir, in accordance with the directions from the All India Council of
Technical Education, New Delhi and Ministry of Human Resources Development,
Government of India, subject to the eligibility criteria prescribed in these rules.
(b) Such candidate shall be exempted from appearing in the Common Management
Aptitude Test (CMAT) as prescribed by AICTE.
10. Registration for the Admission-
(1) A candidate seeking admission shall apply online, for the registration of his candidature, on
the website, within the time limit specified by the Admission Committee.
(2) The Admission Committee shall, by advertisement in the prominent newspapers widely
circulated in the State, by website and by such other means, as it may consider convenient,
publish the date of registration, the list of Help Centers, last date for submission of registration
form, courses offered and such other information as may be necessary in this behalf.
(3) For the purpose of registration in any mode of admission either through Admission
Committee or at Institute level, the candidate shall be required to make payment of such sum
towards the registration fees, etc. as determined by the Admission Committee.
(4) Where a candidate has made more than one registrations, the registration made at the later
stage shall be taken into consideration for admission purpose and the other registration shall
be treated as cancelled.

(5) A candidate shall be required to obtain the print out of the registration form and shall sign and
submit the same along with the self-attested copies of the requisite certificates and
testimonials as specified in the registration form, at the Help Centre. The candidate shall have
to produce for verification, the original certificates and testimonials of the documents attached
with the registration form, at the Help Centre, within time limit as may be specified by the
Admission Committee. An acknowledgement receipt for the same shall be given by the
person authorized by the Admission Committee.
(6) The Help Centre may retain any original certificate or testimonial which it considers
necessary until the admission process is completed. The receipt of the same shall be given
by the Help Centre. The Such Help Centre shall return the original certificate or testimonial to
the candidate after completion of the admission process.
(7) The candidate who is unable to produce original certificates or testimonials necessary for the
purpose of admission at the time of registration within the time-limit prescribed in sub-rule (5),
may be registered for admission subject to following conditions, namely:-
(i) On payment of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees five thousand) to the Admission Committee as
security deposit by the candidate. If the candidate submits the required documents
within a period of five working days, the amount of the Security deposit shall be
refunded, after deducting Rs.500/- (Rupees Five hundred) towards the administrative
expenditure
(ii) In the event of failure to submit original certificates and testimonials within the time limit
as aforesaid, the registration may be cancelled and the security deposit shall be
forfeited.
11. Preparation of Merit List-
The merit list of the candidates who have applied for admission in the manner prescribed by the
Admission Committee, within the prescribed time limit and who are found eligible for admission
under these rules, shall be prepared in the following manner, namely:-
(1) For the candidates who have passed the Qualifying Examination from any of the Boards
mentioned in the sub-rule (2) of rule 5, on the basis of marks obtained in the Common
Management Aptitude Test (CMAT).
(2) The criteria for deciding merit order in case of students having equal merit marks in Common
Management Aptitude Test (CMAT) shall be in the following sequence, namely:-
(i) Marks obtained in QT & Data Interpretation section of CMAT,
(ii) Marks obtained in Logical Reasoning section of CMAT,
(iii) Marks obtained in Language Comprehension section of CMAT,
(iv) Percentage of marks obtained in Mathematics subject of S.S.C. Examination (Std. 10 th ),
(v) Percentage of marks obtained in S.S.C. Examination (Std. 10 th )
12. Admission Procedure.— The admission procedure shall be off campus online in the
following manner, namely:-
(1) The Admission Committee shall prepare merit lists of the eligible candidates who have
applied under subrule (1) of rule 10, after verification of the documents submitted under sub-
rule (5) of rule 10.
(2) The merit lists shall be displayed on the website of the Admission Committee and by such
other means, as the Committee may consider convenient.
(3) The Admission Committee shall publish the schedule of online counseling program on its
website, by adver-tisement in the prominent newspapers widely circulated in the State, and
by such other means, as it may consider convenient.

(4) The candidate shall be required to indicate his order of choices of courses and colleges or
institutions, online. Allotment of seats shall be made on the basis of merit, category of the
candidate and availability of seats. The allotment of seats shall be published on the website
of the Committee. The candidates are required to obtain the print out of the Information Letter
and bank fee receipt copies from the website.
(5) The candidate shall be required to pay such fee, as may be determined by the Admission
Committee.
(6) On payment of tuition fees as required under sub-rule (5), either online payment or in the
branches of banks as specified, the admission allotted to the candidate shall get confirmed.
The candidate shall be required to login to his account to get the print out of the Admission
Slip. In case, the candidate fails to pay the tuition fees within the prescribed time limit as
aforesaid, the admission offered to him shall be treated as cancelled. Such candidate shall
not be eligible to get admission on same course in the same institute in the successive
rounds of counseling.
(7) Where considerable number of seats falls vacant and it appears to the Committee to fill up
the vacant seats, it may conduct the online admission process for readjustment (reshuffling)
of seats. The candidate, who opts to partake in reshuffling process, shall be considered for
such admission. The candidate may either give option for up gradation of choices already
given or submit new choices. If the candidate gets the admission on the basis of upgradation
or new choice, then his earlier admission shall be treated as cancelled.
13. Fees.-
(1) A candidate who gets admission in the Government or aided college or institution shall have
to pay such fees, as may be determined by the Government, at such stages, as may be
determined by the Admission Commit-tee.
(2) A candidate who gets admission in unaided colleges or institutions shall have to pay such
fees, as may be determined by the Fee Regulatory Committee constituted under section 9 of
the Act, for unaided colleges or institutions, at such stages, as may be determined by the
Admission Committee.
(3) If a candidate, who has paid the fees after getting admission, gets his admission cancelled
within the time limit specified by the Admission Committee, his fees shall be refunded after
completion of the admission process, provided that the seat vacated by him is filled by
another candidate.
(4) If a candidate who has paid the fees after getting admission and gets his admission changed
in another course and/or college or institution in the readjustment (reshuffling) process, he
shall pay the difference of fees, if any, at the time of getting admission or, as the case may
be, shall be refunded the fees after the completion of admission process.
14. Documents to be attached with the application.-
(1) The candidate shall submit the self-attested copies of the following documents along with the
print out of the registration form at the Help Centre, namely:-

(vi) Category certificate for a candidate belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled
Tribes (ST) and Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC), issued by the
authority empowered by the State Government in this behalf,
(vii) Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate of the family, issued after 1st April of the relevant
academic year, by the authority empowered by the State Government in this behalf,
(vii-a) Category certificate for a candidate belonging to Economically Weaker Sections
(EWS), issued by the authority empowered by the State Government in this behalf,".
(viii) Certificate of Physical Disability, issued and duly signed by the Civil Surgeon/ competent
Medical Authority, in case of a Physically Handicapped candidate,
(ix) Certificate of Ex-Serviceman, duly issued by the Director, Sainik Welfare Board, Gujarat
State or by the District Sainik Welfare Officer,
(x) A copy of certificate of In-Serviceman duly issued by the Commanding Officer of the
respective unit in which he is serving,
(xi) Passport size Photograph of candidate, and
(xii) Such other certificates as the Admission Committee deems necessary.
(xiii) A copy of valid certificate of income issued by the authority empowered by the State
Government in this behalf, if applicable.
15. Ineligibility for admission on production of false documents.-
During verification of documents, if the Admission Committee finds any certificate or testimony
or information submitted by any candidate, incorrect or false, the candidature of such candidate
shall be cancelled for that year and he shall be disqualified for admission for the period of next
two years.
16. Cancellation of Admission and Refund of Fees.-
(1) In case of cancellation of admission or transfer of candidate by the Admission Committee,
due to administrative reasons, the College or Institution in which the candidate was
granted admission shall refund the amount of fees collected by it, to such candidate.
(2) (a) In case of a candidate withdrawing his candidature before completion of admission
process, for any reason whatsoever, he may login to his account on the website of the
Admission Committee for online admission process and put the request for cancellation
of admission within the time limit specified by the Admission Committee. In such case,
the fees collected, if any, by the Admission Committee shall be refunded to such
candidate, subject to the condition of such vacated seat being filled up by the Admission
Committee.
(b) After completion of online admission process and before declaration of schedule of
admission on vacant seats, if any candidate who has withdrawn his candidature in the
manner as provided in para (a), the fees paid by him shall be refunded subject to the
condition of such vacated seat being filled up by the institution, as per the directions of
Admission Committee and prevailing rules of AICTE.
(c) A candidate desirous to withdraw his candidature after completion of admission on
vacant seats, for any reason whatsoever, shall have to request in writing in person to the
college or institution in which he is granted admission but he shall not be entitled to get
refund of the fees paid by him for getting admission.
(d) In case of cancellation of admission at college or institute level on the request of the
student, he shall liable to pay the fees for the current semester and no college or
institution shall demand fees for further semesters.

17. Vacant Seats.-
(1) After offering admission to all the candidates whose names appear in the merit list or after
completion of the online admission process, if the seats remain vacant, such vacant seats
shall be filled by the college or institution by preparing common merit list, in accordance with
the directions of the Admission Committee and in the manner prescribed in sub-rule (2).
(2) (a) The Admission Committee shall, by an advertisement in the prominent
newspapers widely circulated in the State, by website and by such other means, as it may
consider convenient, display the details of vacant seats and schedule for admission on
the vacant seats The candidates who are already in the merit list of the Admission
Committee shall submit registration form to participate for the vacant seats round as per
schedule declared by the Admission Committee. While, the eligible candidates who have
not registered earlier shall have to register online as per schedule declared by the
Admission Committee.
(b) A candidate who has newly registered or having merit number as per clause (a) shall
have to take print out of the registration form or as the case may be the copy of
registration form and approach the unaided college or institution of his choice for
admission on the vacant seats. An acknowledgement shall be given to the candidate by
the concerned unaided college or institution.
(c) A candidate who has merit number or who is newly registered shall be allowed to
participate in admission procedure for the vacant seats only. The concerned unaided
college or institution shall process the filling up of vacant seats among such eligible
candidates who have submitted the registration form by preparing common intra-se merit
list in the following order and the guidelines issued by the Admission Committee from time
to time, namely:-
(i) the names of the candidates whose name appears in the merit list of the Admission
Committee;
(ii) the names of the candidates who are eligible as per rule 5 and have appeared in
CMAT test conducted in the corresponding year as prescribed by the AICTE and
have newly registered for admission on the vacant seat.
(iii) the names of the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination with at
least for open category with 50% (45 % for SC/ST/SEBC/EWS) marks from any of
the recognized Universities or Institutes situated outside the Gujarat State and have
appeared in CMAT test conducted in the corresponding year as prescribed by the
AICTE;
(iv) after allotting the seats to candidates mentioned in sub-clauses (i) to (iii), if any seat
still remain vacant, the institute shall fill such seat from the candidates who have
cleared the qualifying examination from recognized Universities or Institutes with
minimum eligibility criteria prescribed as per rule 5 but have not appeared in CMAT
entrance examination. The merit list shall be prepared on the basis of graduation
percentage.”
19. Penalty.-
Any breach of any of the provisions of the Act, these rules or any direction issued by the
Government, the Admission Committee or as the case may be, the Fee Regulatory
Committee, by any person, shall be liable to penalty as provided in the Act.
20. Interpretation.-
In implementation of the provisions of these rules, if any difficulty or question arises as to
the interpretation of any provision, the decision of the Government shall be final.

3. GUIDELINES FOR ONLINE REGISTRATION
6. Registration Acknowledgement: Candidate has to report to the nearest Help Centre along
with duly signed application form and self attested photo copy of required documents to get
registration acknowledgement slip.
7. Forgot/ Change Password: Use PIN to change/generate new password.
8. In case if you misplace your USER ID, PIN after registration the same shall be allotted by
paying Rs. 50/- as an administrative charge at ACPC Office, Ahmedabad with necessary
identification given by candidates him / her self.
3.3 Instructions for filling Application Form online for Registration
After obtaining User-ID & PIN from the counter of any of the designated branches of Dena
Bank, log on to website https:/www.gujacpc.nic.in from anywhere on the internet for online
registration. The window as shown in Fig.3.1. will appear on the screen.
To register as a new candidate click the Click Here For New Registration button. By doing
so, New window will be displayed on the computer screen as shown in Fig. 3.2. By selecting
MBA/MCA/MBC option window will be opened on the computer screen as shown in Fig. 3.3.
The candidate has to choose course name by selecting an appropriate option
MBA/MCA/MBC. After that, enter CMAT Roll No. User ID and 14 digit PIN, Name as per the
CMAT score card and other details in the appropriate box. Verify the details entered and if
every detail entered are correct, click Submit button. Then, the online Registration Form will
be displayed on the computer screen as shown in Fig. 3.4.
• Candidate has to fill up his personal and other details in the required format displayed in
candidate registration form.
• Candidates shall fill marks of SSC, HSC, Graduation obtained out of grand total. In case
of grade point (SPI/CP/CGPA), fill equivalent % as per conversion formula used in
respective board/university.
• Candidates, who have done Bachelor of Computer Application or Bachelor of Science
(IT) or Bachelor or Science (Computer) and want to take admission in MCA second year
lateral entry, will tick Yes in the registration detail.

• Verify the entries made and if every detail is found correct, choose I accept option at the
bottom of the form, if the declaration is acceptable to you. On selecting I accept option,
candidate will be allowed to click the SUBMIT button. In case any mandatory information not
filled then registration will not be completed. In such case the incomplete fields will be
highlighted by ‘ * ’ with red colour or message will be displayed. Provide the incomplete
information and clickSUBMIT button.
• By doing so, a Registration details will be generated as show in Fig. 3.5. If it is required to
make any corrections then press Edit Registration Details button. The online Registration
Form will appear with already filled details which can be edited by the candidate. After
editing, if every details found correct, click Confirm Registration Details button. No
changes to registration details will be allowed after this.
• The candidate will be able to take printout of the Registration Details only after candidate
presses Confirm Registration Details button. Click the Print Your Details button for
printing Registration Details. Refer Fig. 3.5.
• For the confirmation of registration at Help Center, the candidates have to take printout of the
Registration Details (two copies). Self-attested copies of all relevant documents (as per the
list mentioned at the bottom of the Registration Details) should be attached with the
Registration Details. Both candidate as well as parent/guardian of the candidate has to
compulsorily sign the Registration Details at the space provided.
• The candidate then has to visit any nearby Help Center along with Registration Details and
necessary attachments as well as all relevant original documents, compulsorily. If found
necessary, then the officer of Help Centre will retain all original documents and will give
receipt for the same.

• The officer at the Help Center will verify the Registration Details and photocopies of
relevant documents with originals. The officer will retain Registration Details and set of
self attested documents, and issue the Registration Slip (as shown in Fig. 3.6) with
signature and seal to the Candidate.
• After successful completion of registration process, provisional merit number (rank) will
be allotted on a stipulated date. Candidate will be able to obtain provisional merit
number (rank) using his user ID on website www.gujacpc.nic.in under Registration
Details button or can also view on website www.jacpcldce.ac.in by entering User ID.

4. GUIDELINES FOR ONLINE ADMISSION
2. For filling up of the choices of courses and institutes the candidate has to login to the
website www.gujacpc.nic.in by using login ID and password within the time limit as
prescribed by Admission Committee. After login, the candidate can see all available choices
according to his eligibility (Gender). There will be so many options of available choices for
candidate. The candidate can sort his choices according to institute name and/or course
name, district wise etc. (Fig. 4.1 & 4.2)

3. The candidate can fill single choice at a time.
4. For filling up single choice, by clicking on ADD button in first grid, one can fill single choice
at one time and the choice will be displayed in second grid after the previously selected
choices as shown in Fig. 4.3.
5. As shown in fig. 4.3 in Move Choice Function, the candidate, by entering the current choice
number [1] in the box and the choice number to which it is to be shifted [2] in the box, can
get the current choice number [5] inserted between choices 1 and 3.
6. Using Swap Choice Function, candidate can interchange any two choice priorities. For this
candidate will have to enter choice numbers which are to be interchanged in the boxes
provided. As shown in Fig. 4.4, choice number [2] will be shifted to choice number [1] and
the previous choice number [1] will be shifted to choice number [2].
7. The candidate has to click on Save choices button for saving the filled choices at regular
interval. After filling all choices he has to click onSave and exit button then window will
open as Shown in Fig. 4.5, which will show the filled choices in order of preferences.
8. If the candidate wants to modify choices, he should click on Modify Choices button then he
will be redirected to choice submission page (Ref. Fig. 4.3).
9. The candidate has to lock his final choices within the stipulated time limit. Upon clicking the
Lock Choices button a message “Enter your 14 digit PIN” will be displayed as shown in Fig.
4.6 After entering your PIN, choices will be locked. If he wants to modify the locked choices,
he may do so by clicking on Unlock Choices button. By entering your 14 digit PIN you can
unlock the filled choices. Repeat the same procedure of locking of choices mentioned
earlier.
4.2 MOCK ROUND :
Mock round is a trial process to understand the choice filling process as well as seat
allotment process, also to know the possible availability of courses / institute as per the
merit of candidate.
There will be one mock (practice) round of seat allotment prior to the actual seat allotment.
During the mock round the candidates have to fill their choices online within the specified
time period. After that as per the counseling schedule the result will be declared. The
candidates have to see their result by login to their login ID on the website. The result and
analysis can also be available on website www.jacpcldce.ac.in. After the declaration of the
result of the mock round, candidates can go through the cutoff marks of the different
courses and institutes so that they can get an idea of filling the choices for the actual round.
And at the end, after declaration of result of mock round, the candidates can fill their Final
Choices for first regular round of counseling.
Since the seat allotment being done in accordance with candidate’s Merit number,
Category and choices given by all the candidates, it is not necessary to get the same
seat in the first round as acquired in the Mock round.

4.3 FIRST PHASE OF ALLOTMENT OF SEAT:
1. After the choice filling period is over, the ACPC will process for allotment of seats and
declare the status of allotment on the website www.gujacpc.nic.in. The candidates can view
their status of allotment by login to their own login ID.
2. The statistics of the latest allotment status of seats will also be available on the website
www.gujacpc.nic.in as well as on www.jacpcldce.ac.in.
3. After declaration of results of allotment of seats, if the candidate gets any seat, he can get
Information Letter along with bank fee challan showing requisite tuition fees to be paid, by
clicking on the link Result and thereafter on Information Letter (as shown in Fig. 4.7). If the
candidate didn’t get any seat then message will be shown as “Sorry! You did not get any
seat”. The candidate, who has been allotted a seat, shall take the printout of the Information
Letter of seat allotment (two copies). The candidate wishes to pay fees at bank has to take
print out of a Payment Slip and those who wishes to make the payment online either using
debit/credit card or net banking facility can do so by clicking on “Make Online Payment”
button.
4.4 PROCEDURE FOR CONFIRMATION OF ALLOTTED ADMISSION
1. The successful candidate has to pay by cash the requisite amount of tuition fee at any of
designated branches of Dena Bank or through online payment within the time limit specified
by the Admission Committee. By doing so, the admission allotted to the candidate get
automatically confirmed. Then candidate has to click on Admission Detail thereafter click on
Print Admission Slip link, by doing so, candidate can get the print of “Admission Slip” (Fig.
4.8) after entering in to his login ID.
2. The candidate, who has been allotted seat, but does not deposit the prescribed fee by the
due date, his particular admission will automatically be cancelled. Therefore, the candidates
are advised to deposit their fee within the stipulated time limit without fail. However he can
take part in the next round of counseling, if any, provided he has to give online consent
during the specified time limit but such a candidate shall not be eligible to get admission on
the particular seat allotted to him in subsequent phases of admission.
3. Those candidates whose Payment Slip generated with zero fee need not go to the bank.
They have to confirm their admission online by using their user ID and password. For
confirmation of their admission such candidates have to click on Result —> Information
Letter, then a message as shown in Fig. 4.9 will be displayed. To confirm their admission,
click on Accept button. Those candidates who click on Decline button, their allotted
admission will not be confirmed, and such candidates shall not be eligible to claim the
particular seat allotted to them in the subsequet phases of admission, if any. Those
candidates who accept the admission can get the print of “Admission Slip” (Fig. 4.8) after
entering in to their login ID.
4. Now, if the admitted candidate is NOT willing to participate in the next round of admission in
order to upgrade his admission, he has to immediately report to the allotted Institute for
enrolment with “Information Letter”, “Admission Slip” Bank Challan / Online Fee Receipt and
photo copies of all documents. The candidate is not required to submit original certificates/
documents at the institute. Here, the candidate is not required to make any payment in any
manner/on any head until and unless the admission of the current year declared closed
officially by ACPC.

4.5 TO CANCEL THE ADMISSION AND THEREAFER RE-INSTATE THE ADMISISON
Note: The candidate can re-instate his cancelled admission for maximum 2 (two)
times only during the entire admission process, within time limit specified by the
admission committee.
4.6 SECOND ROUND OF COUNSELING :
1. After declaration of first allotment of seats by the ACPC and online confirmation of
admission, by the candidates within the stipulated time limit, the ACPC will declare “Vacant
Seats”, if any, on the website www.gujacpc.nic.in and on www.jacpcldce.ac.in
2. After declaration of “Vacant Seats”, if the Admission Committee decides to conduct one
more round of counseling, the candidates will be given certain time period to give consent
online for participation in the next round. While giving consent for next round of counseling,
the candidates can upgrade their choices and/or fill new choices if they want to do so,
otherwise their choices given earlier will remain unchanged and allotment will be made
accordingly.
3. In case a candidate is WILLING to participate and take part in the next round of counseling
in order to upgrade his admission choice, he is NOT required to report at the college allotted
in the previous round. In this case, the candidate can wait until the allotment of seat in the
next counseling declares.
4. The candidates, who have not been allotted any seats in the first counseling, will have to
give online consent for participation in the next round of admission process. The candidates
who have been allotted seats in the first counseling and are still keen to participate in the
next round of counseling can also take part in the counseling process after giving online
consent. To participate in the next round of counseling process, the candidate has to login
using his Login ID on the website www.gujacpc.nic.in during the specified time limit and click
on Reshuffling button.

4.7 COMPLAINTS/GRIEVANCES
1. Any candidate, during the period of admission process, wants to lodge complaint/grievance
against any institution; he has to register his complaint/grievance through online by login his
Login ID on the website www.gujacpc.nic.in during the specified time limit. To do so, the
candidate has to click on Complaint button at the menu bar on the top of the screen (Fig.
4.13). In the text box provided as “Description of Complaint” the candidate has to type the
details of complaints briefly. The candidate may upload document, if any, in support to the
complaint/grievance by clicking Browse button. Thereafter, the candidate can view the
status of his complaint by clickin View button at the menu bar on the top of the screen
(Fig.4.14).
The candidate can avail the details of activities performed during the entire admission
process by clicking on History button after login into his account (Fig.4.15).

5. MANAGEMENT QUOTA (M.Q.) GUIDELINES

9. Institute will not deny issuing or accepting admission form within the stipulated time limit to
any candidate. Even though, if any institute denies issuing or accepting of admission form, the
students can take print out of the admission form from the website of Admission Committee,
fill up the form and submit it to the Admission Committee with an Affidavit on a stamp paper
worth Rs. 50/-. Such forms and affidavit should be submitted personally at Grievance Cell of
Admission Committee with Rs. 350/- per form, per institute as administrative charges within
the time limit stipulated by the Admission Committee. Separate form and affidavit has to be
submitted for each institute. Thereafter such forms will be sent to the respective institutions.
The institutions will have to accept such forms and include such students in the merit list of
the institute.
For admission NRI seats following are the guidelines in addition to the guidelines prescribed for
admission to the Management Quota seats
1. The students, who have passed qualifying examination from India, shall be eligible only if he /
she has appeared in CMAT examination of the 2019-20. But if candidates has passed
qualifying examination from countries other than India and included in the merit based on the
marks obtained in the qualifying examination, CMAT is exempted. Such students shall be
fulfilling the admission eligibility as per State Government norms. N.R.I. students shall be
given priority for the admission.
2. The candidate, who has passed the qualifying examination from any foreign countries, shall
have to obtain equivalency certificate form the Association of India Universities, New Delhi.
3. The NRI student seeking admission on NRI seats shall have to submit copy of his / her
passport along with a copy of passport of his / her mother and / or father. NRI sponsored
student seeking admission on NRI seats shall have to submit copy of a passport (having
signature of sponsorer) of sponsoring NRI person and the affidavit stating relation of student
with sponsoring NRI person, responsibilities of education of sponsored student.
4. Sponsored NRI Student shall be included in the merit list of NRI seats as well as
Management Quota seats.
5. If the students has applied for the NRI category, and able to produce necessary proofs of
being NRI or NRI sponsored student at the time of counseling, such students shall be granted
admission in the Management Quota seats on the basis of merit of the same.

6. GRIEVANCES REDRESSAL MECHANISM
Grievance Redressal Mechanism is devised for the candidates during the period of admission
process to lodge complaints/grievances against the institutions/offices in the following
matters:

7. Education Loan Facility
7.1 EDUCATIONAL LOAN SCHEMES OF INDIAN BANKS ASSOCIATION:
Purpose Payment of course fees. Purchase of books, equipments, instruments, uniform,
payment of hostel fees, examination fees, study tours for studies in India
Eligible Professional courses: Engineering, Medical, Agriculture, Veterinary, Law, Dental,
Courses Computer, Management, etc.

Finance For studies in India: Max. Rs.10.00 Lakhs
Security Loan is given jointly to the student and parent /guardian Assignment of future

7.2 CENTRAL SECTOR SCHEME OF INTEREST SUBSIDY FOR EDUCATION LOANS BY
SCHEDULED BANKS:
Synopsis
Students belonging to Economically Weaker Section (EWS) with annual gross
parental/Family income from all sources with an upper limit of Rs. 4.50 Lakhs are eligible.
Introduction:
One of the major concerns of the Government is to ensure that nobody is denied
Professional education because he or she is poor. The Indian Banks’ Association (IBA) had
formulated a comprehensive model educational loan scheme for adoption by all Banks
aimed at providing financial support from the banking system to deserving/meritorious
students for pursuing higher education in India and abroad. with initiatives of Government of
India, RBI, NSDL and IBA, Common portal has been designed name as
www.vidyalakshmi.co.in
Objective of the Scheme
The Government of India has approved a scheme to provide full interest subsidy during the
period of moratorium i.e., Course Period plus one year or six months after getting job,
whichever is earlier, on loans taken by students belonging to Economically Weaker Sections
from scheduled banks under the Educational Loan scheme of the Indian Banks’ Association,
for pursuing any of the approved courses of studies in technical and professional streams,
from recognized institutions in India.
The nomenclature of the Scheme is “Central Scheme to provide Interest Subsidy for the
period of moratorium on Educational Loans taken by students from Economically Weaker
Sections from scheduled banks under the Educational Loan Scheme of the Indian Banks’
Association to pursue Technical/Professional Education studies in India”
Applicability of the Scheme
The Scheme could be adopted by all scheduled Banks and would be applicable only for
studies in recognized Technical/Professional Courses in India. The interest subsidy shall be
linked with the existing Educational Loan Scheme of IBA and restricted to students enrolled
in recognized Technical/Professional Courses (after Class XII) in India in Educational
Institutions established by Acts of Parliament, other Institutions recognized by the concerned
Statutory Bodies, Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs)and other Institutions set up by the
Central/State Government.
Interest Rates to loan accounts
The interest rates charged on the education loan shall be as per the rates prescribed by
Banks.
Period for which Interest Subsidy is available
Under the Central Scheme, the interest payable by the student belonging to EWS for
availing of the Educational Loan for Technical/Professional Courses in India for the period of
moratorium i.e., Course Period plus one year or six months after getting job, whichever is
earlier, as prescribed under the Educational Loan Scheme of the Indian Banks’ Association,
shall be borne by the Government of India. After the period of moratorium is over, the
interest on the outstanding loan amount shall be paid by the student, in accordance with the
provisions of the existing Educational Loan Scheme of Bank and as may be amended from
time to time, whichever is earlier.

Income Limit/Proof
The benefits under the Scheme would be applicable to those students belonging to
economically weaker sections, with an annual gross parental/family income upper limit of
Rs.4.50 Lakhs per year (from all sources). Income proof shall be required from the students
from such public authorities which are authorized by the State Governments for certification
of income status for this Scheme, including Central and State Sector Schemes. The present
scheme is intended to cater to the needs of students belonging to economically weaker
sections with prescribed upper parental gross income limit of the family from all sources,
which is based on economic index and not on social background. The scheme is
independent of any other schemes which may cater to EWS.
Eligibility for Interest Subsidy
The interest subsidy under the Scheme shall be available to the eligible students only once,
either for the first undergraduate degree course or the post graduate degrees/diplomas in
India. Interest Subsidy shall, however, be admissible for integrated courses.
Interest Subsidy under this Scheme shall not be available for those students once they
discontinue the course midstream, or who are expelled from the Institutions on disciplinary or
academic grounds, However, the interest subsidy will be available only if the discontinuation
was due to medical grounds for which necessary documentation to the satisfaction of the
Head of educational institution will have to be given.
Noting Lien of Education Loan in the Awards/Certificates
There would be tag/marker on the degree of the student indicating his repayment towards
liabilities. Electronic Tags will enable employers to identify loanees. (The Ministry of HRD
has initiated the proposal to dematerialize the educational awards/certificates, setting up of
Depository for maintaining the records in dematerialized form and providing service to the
users. Banks can have online access for verification process, which would eliminate
fraudulent practices like forging of certificates and marks sheets.)
Nodal Bank and Webportal
The Scheme shall be implemented through Canara Bank, which is the Nodal Bank for the
Ministry of Human Resource Development. Modalities for implementation and monitoring
mechanism shall be finalized in consultation with the Canara Bank.
For the processes of the same candidate has to register on webportal www.vidyalakshmi.co.in.
List of Technical/Professional courses
A list of Technical/Professional courses for which the Scheme shall be applicable, shall be
brought out by the Ministry of HRD in consultation with the concerned
Ministries/Departments and the Indian Banks’ Association and publicized from time to time.
As regards list of accredited universities/institutions and recognized professional courses,
UGC and AICTE would immediately display the names of such institutions and courses in
their websites, which may be accessed for verification purposes.
Monitoring
A monitoring mechanism shall be evolved by the Ministry of HRD to monitor the benefits
accruing to different categories of loanees, such as, the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled
Tribes, Miniorities, Disabled, etc.

8. CODE OF CONDUCT AND DISCIPLINE
1. Except unavoidable circumstances or due to health reason with which medical certificate or
request letter from the guardian suit to the occasion, every student has to attend his
teaching periods, laboratory since from the beginning of every academic session. In the
beginning of the session, late coming students shall be entitled for a fine @ Rs.10 per day.
2. Students shall not disturb the class in any manner nor shall misbehave with teaching
fraternity directly or indirectly.
3. No student shall act against the rule or misconduct in and around the campus.
4. Any person or group or party is prohibited from any activities which may disturb the
functions of the institute. Disciplinary action will be initiated against the student who
indulges in to such activities.
5. Any damage or destruction to the property/belongings of the institute, staff and students is
strictly prohibited. If any student found to be indulged in such activities, the cost of the loss
shall be recovered from the parents/guardian of the student.
6. It is anticipated good manners and proper conduct and gentleness from the individual as
well as group of students.
7. The student has to maintain sense of proportion in the extra-curricular activities and do not
make hindrance in the academic activities.
8. It is mandatory to obey the instructions given by the teachers pertaining to academic or
other matters, time to time.
9. The students shall not take part in the activities not authorized by the institution which may
hurt conduct and academic relations.
10. Every student has to wear the identity card issued by the institute as also produce as and
when asked by the authorized officer of the institute.
11. No student shall carry intoxicating or narcotic drugs/items with him and shall not consume
it. Those who breach the orders shall be liable for cancellation of admission / rustication
from the college.
Any student convicted to be the culprit in the breach of any of the above guidelines or other
specific instructions and the guidelines issued time to time by the authorities of
University/Technical Examination Board/Institute the Principal of the concerned institute
shall be the competent authority to impose suitable punishment and in any extreme case
can put the student on suspension or debar from the institute and the decision of the
Principal shall be binding to all concerned.

9. FREESHIP CARD FOR SCHEDULED CASTE & SCHEDULE TRIBES
CANDIDATES
Award of Freeship card to Scheduled Caste & Schedule Tribes students under Post-Metric
Scholarship Scheme:
Freeship card to be given to the students belong to Scheduled Caste & Schedule Tribes
categories who fulfil the eligibility as mentioned in the letter No.11017/01/2008/SCD/5 dated
31.12.2010 of Government of India, Social Justice and Empowerment Department and after
detailed verification by the District Backward Welfare Officer as per the guidelines of the
Government of India.
On production of Freeship card, the card holders can secure admission in any self-financed
institutions under the Education Department of the State without payment of fees otherwise
payable, based on the undertaking issued by the District Backward Welfare Officer/Freeship
card.

10. PREVENTION AND PROHIBITION OF RAGGING
OBJECTIVES:
In view of the directions of the Honorable Supreme Court in SLP No. 24295 of 2006 dated 16-05-
2007 and in Civil Appeal number 887 of 2009, dated 08-05-2009 to prohibit, prevent and
eliminate the scourge of ragging including any conduct by any student or students whether by
words spoken or written or by an act which has the effect of teasing, treating or handling with
rudeness a fresher or any other student, or indulging in rowdy or undisciplined activities by any
student or students which causes or is likely to cause annoyance, hardship or psychological harm
or to raise fear or apprehension thereof in any fresher or any other student or asking any student
to do any act which such student will not in the ordinary course do and which has the effect of
causing or generating a sense of shame, or torment or embarrassment so as to adversely affect
the physique or psyche of such fresher or any other student, with or without an intent to derive a
sadistic pleasure or showing off power, authority or superiority by a student over any fresher or
any other student, in all higher education institutions in the country, and thereby, to provide for the
healthy development, physically and psychologically, of all students.
WHAT CONSTITUTES RAGGING:
Ragging constitutes one or more of any of the following acts:
1. Any conduct by any student or students whether by words spoken or written or by an act
which has the effect of teasing, treating or handling with rudeness a fresher or any other student;
2. Indulging in rowdy or undisciplined activities by any student or students which causes or is
likely to cause annoyance, hardship, physical or psychological harm or to raise fear or
apprehension thereof in any fresher or any other student;
3. Asking any student to do any act which such student will not in the ordinary course do and
which has the effect of causing or generating a sense of shame, or torment or embarrassment so
as to adversely affect the physique or psyche of such fresher or any other student;
4. Any act by a senior student that prevents, disrupts or disturbs the regular academic activity of
any other student or a fresher;
5. Exploiting the services of a fresher or any other student for completing the academic tasks
assigned to an individual or a group of students.
6 .Any act of financial extortion or forceful expenditure burden put on a fresher or any other
student by students;
7. Any act of physical abuse including all variants of it: sexual abuse, homosexual assaults,
stripping, forcing obscene and lewd acts, gestures, causing bodily harm or any other danger to
health or person;
8. Any act or abuse by spoken words, emails, posts, public insults which would also include
deriving perverted pleasure, vicarious or sadistic thrill from actively or passively participating in
the discomfiture to fresher or any other student
9. Any act that affects the mental health and self-confidence of a fresher or any other student
with or without an intent to derive a sadistic pleasure or showing off power, authority or superiority
by a student over any fresher or any other student.
MANDATORY DISCLOSER:
1. Ragging is totally banned and anyone found guilty of ragging and/or abetting ragging is liable
to be punished.
2. The Appendix-I should be filled up and signed by the candidate to the effect that he / she is
aware of the law regarding prohibition of ragging as well as the punishments, and that he/she, if
found guilty of the offence of ragging and / or abetting ragging, is liable to be punished
appropriately.

3. The affidavit-II should be signed by the parent/guardian of the applicant to the effect that
he/she is also aware of the law in this regard and agrees to abide by the punishment meted out to
his/her ward in case the latter is found guilty of ragging and / or abetting ragging.
4. A student seeking admission to the hostel shall have to submit another affidavit-III along with
his/her application for hostel accommodation that he / she is also aware of the law in this regard
and agrees to abide by the punishments meted out if he / she is found guilty of ragging and / or
abetting ragging.
5. The first year students should desist from doing anything against their will even if ordered by
the seniors, and that they have nothing to fear as the institution cares for them and shall not
tolerate any atrocities against them.
6. A student securing admission to a particular institute shall have to submit concern affidavits to
the principal of institute.
ACTIONS TO BE TAKEN AGAINST STUDENTS FOR INDULGING AND ABETTING RAGGING
IN TECHNICAL INSTITUTIONS:
1. The punishment to be meted out to the persons indulged in ragging has to be exemplary
and justifiably harsh to act as a deterrent against recurrence of such incidents.
2. Every single incident of ragging a First Information Report (FIR) must be filed without
exception by the institutional authorities with the local police authorities.
3. The Anti-Ragging Committee of the institution shall take an appropriate decision, with regard
to punishment or otherwise, depending on the facts of each incident of ragging and nature
and gravity of the incident of ragging.
4. Depending upon the nature and gravity of the offence as established the possible
punishments for those found guilty of ragging at the institution level shall be any one or any
combination of the following,
a. Cancellation of admission
b. Suspension from attending classes
c. Withholding / withdrawing scholarship / fellowship and other benefits
d. Debarring from appearing in any test / examination or other evaluation process
e. Withholding results
f. Debarring from representing the institution in any regional, national or international meet,
tournament, youth festival, etc.
g. Suspension / expulsion from the hostel
h. Rustication from the institution for period ranging from 1 to 4 semesters
i. Expulsion from the institution and consequent debarring from admission to any
other institution.
j. Collective punishment: when the persons committing or abetting the crime of
ragging are not identified, the institution shall resort to collective punishment
as a deterrent to ensure Community pressure on the potential raggers.
An appeal against the order of punishment by the Anti-Ragging Committee shall lie,
1. In case of an order of an institution, affiliated to or constituent part, of the University, to the
Vice-Chancellor of the University;
2. In case of an order of a University, to its Chancellor.
3. In case of an institution of national importance created by an Act of Parliament, to the
4. Chairman or Chancellor of the institution, as the case may be.
The institutional authorities shall intimate the incidents of ragging occurred in their premises
along with actions taken to the Council form time to time.
