Rojan Foodhouse Services and Trading franchise Chingu Buko House. Chingu Buko House was
established in May 05, 2010 in the Philippines and as their business name suggests, they serve a variety
of buko made food products. Chingu Buko House is a foodcart business concept offering 100% fresh and
pure buko juice which perfectly suit the standard and taste of the local market. Chingu Buko House
main products are Buko Juice and Buko Shake.

The success behind the Chingu Buko House was orchestrated by a husband and wife. Lorenzo Hipolito Jr.
and Jo-Ann Hipolito are two hard-working parents. Lorenzo was an overseas Filipino worker while Jo-
Ann was a bank employee. Jo-Ann knew how hard it would be for a child to grow without parents’
proper supervision because she experienced it herself with a father working abroad. They both agreed
that when they start a family, they will raise their kids on a hands-on manner and that they will never
have to leave each other for money. They are willing to do this even if it means that they will have to
sacrifice their careers.

It was awarded the Best Tasting Coconut Juice Drinks Store in the 2011 Top Brand Awards and the No. 1
Coconut Juice and Shake Food Cart in the 2011 Consumers Quality Award. Golden Globe Annual Awards
for Business Excellence and Filipino Achiever 2016 Best Buko Franchise. 2012 Seal of Excellence Award

They installed their very first outlet for their beverage stand named Chingu Buko House at Robinsons
Starmills Pampanga. This happened on May 5, 2010. Soon after, they decided to put their names on the
franchising business list. They were right about this decision because on July 2010, their 2nd outlet was
born. It is located in Luisita Tarlac and their 3rd outlet on Magic Star, also in Tarlac. They were forced to
work overtime, then. It was really hard at first because they have no means of transporting their
products from Pampanga to Tarlac.

History

Rojan Foodhouse Services and Trading was established in July 2011 by a husband and wife. Rogelio M.
Marcelo Jr. and Jannette C. Marcelo. Rogelio was an Registered Civil Engineer while Jannette C. Marcelo
was a secretary of a Construction Company. They start they business by franchising 1 Chingu Buko
House foodcart then months later they franchise another 3 Chingu Buko house.

Before, Rogelio was an employee of a Constrution Company then he and her wife decided to create a
business and that is the time they franchise Chingu Buko House.

Management team

The business runs by the 2 owners, 1 manager, 4 store employees and 1 delivery employee. Early in the
morning before the 4 store employees start. They check their outlets and stacks if they are correct and
enough for the whole day. Each day the delivery employee deliver coconuts, cups, minerals, tissues,
corns in can, bottles, straws, spoon, sugar and etc,. The owner receives the inventory of the store
employees through texts and pass it to the manager to regulate the business.
