Note: The program will not run unless this step is done.
Step 2:
Place finger on pulse sensor and wrap it tightly with the Velcro strap.
Note: Proper placing and tightening of the finger and Velcro strap is important for
accurate BPM measurements.
Run HRMS.pde.
Step 3: Select your serial port.
Once the program has been loaded, it will ask you for your Arduino’s serial port. Select
which port your Arduino is connected to. Select “Refresh Serial Ports List” if your port is
not detected.

HRMS hotkeys:
‘S’ for saving user data.
‘R’ for resetting the program’s readouts.
Saving user Data:
Step 1:
On HRMS home screen, press ‘S’ key on your keyboard. This is our hotkey for saving
user data.

Once you’ve pressed ‘S’, an input box will appear asking your for user’s name. Input
user name on input box and hit ‘OK’.
Once ‘OK’ is pressed, the system will then save your record on the HRMS folder inside
the folder with your user name.
