Introductory Activity
Learners will recall the past lesson by giving learning insights.
Students will be grouped consisting five to six members and perform the Acitvity “Let’s Fit It!”
Activity LM page 58.

1. What features of the newpaper helped you to connect the pieces perfectly?
Analysis 2. How the lines of prints or texts in the newspaper help you to confirm that you
have reassembled the newspaper/magazine page?
3. Show proofs that the newspaper is perfectly reassembled?
Continental drift was a theory that explained how continents shift position on
Earth's surface. Set forth in 1912 by Alfred Wegener, a geophysicist and
meteorologist, continental drift also explained why look-alike animal and plant fossils,
and similar rock formations, are found on different continents.
Abstraction
The theory of continental drif
Wegener thought all the continents were once joined together in an "Urkontinent"
before breaking up and drifting to their current positions.
