students do not respond quickly and quietly)

Home and School Connection:

with parents each month via mail or phone

conference or home visit
• Have students write self evaluative letters to
home

letters to help process actions and see their
consequences

The first week and potentially the second week
will be heavily oriented to establishing
expectations of procedures and the rewards that
go along with accomplishing those procedures.
The first week will be dedicated to teaching and
rehearsing the many procedures of the
classroom. The second week will be some
rehearsing but heavily reinforcing procedures
from the first week and adding the first content
related weekly class reward.
