The Little Witch and Wizard’s Academy.

You are playing as a child who has been sent to a Magical Academy in order to better understand and
learn the abilities that you’ve come to conjure up. Before you can proceed any further you must first
know who your character is, what your character is, or where it is your character comes from.

1-3 RESULT DESCRIPTION


1 First in the Family You are the first in your family to show magical talent.
2 Noble’s Child You come from a long line of aristocratic witches and wizards.
3 Lineage of the House Your family has been assigned to the same House for generations.
4 Child of Faculty One of your parents works or teaches at this school.
5 Child of a Hero One of your parents was a great Hero.
6 Aspiring Academic You have always tried to be the top student, this is no different.

1 A Lineage Cursed Your family has suffered terrible misfortune in the magical world.
2 Wrongly Housed You were not placed in the same House as your parents or siblings.
3 Orphaned You are a ward of the Academy, with no family to call your own.
4 Little Talent You have little talent at magic. At a natural level you’re not skilled.
5 Half-Blooded Your bloodline is tainted with the likes of Elves, Goblins, or Dwarfs.
6 Destined for Power The stars have foretold your coming. You will be mighty.

Very good. Now you’ve been assigned to a House within you school. The method of which you were
assigned is completely up to your Gamemaster. Each School should have multiple houses, no fewer than
two and no more than five. Four is a sweet number to shoot for. Do not worry if other characters are
not placed in the same house as you. You can all still play together without sleeping in the same dorm.

Classes generally fall into one of the following categories and have a great baring on what sort of magic-
user you will become. Though not all schools will offer the full range of courses for various legal reasons,
most try to offer a fine amount of offensive, defensive, and scholarly subjects. It should be noted that
the more drastic and dangerous a class is, the less likely a young mage is to be admitted into it.

3 Herbology The study of plantlife from various planes and realities.
4 Illusion The creating of illusions and images to shroud the truth.
5 Mesmerism The manipulation of perceptions on dimension and reality.
6 Divination The foretelling of the future via cards, stars, or bones.

2 Charms & Enchantments The creation of magical items and trinkets of various purposes.
3 Ancient Civilizations The study of ancient cultures to better understand magic today.
4 Magical Theory The study of how magic is and why it is and why it is also not.
5 Runes and Runecasting The study and practice of rune magics and ancient glyphs.
6 Potions The creation of potions, poisons, elixirs, and fine spirits.

1 Practical Necromancy The study of the legal necromantic arts and how to spot nastiness.
2 Dueling Magic The art of magical combat with wands and staves.
3 Elementalism The manipulation of elemental forces like fire, water, and air.
4 Spirit & Occult Studies The art of speaking to spirits and manipulating spiritual entities.
5 Black Magic Defense Defending oneself against the Unforgivable Arts and Curses.
6 The Dark Arts of Magic Learning the darkest and most powerful arts of sorcery.

Clubs, while not mandatory, will help you better enjoy your mage’s education experience and help your
child become a better-rounded practitioner of the arts.

1 Acting/Drama A club for acting and performing classical works of theatre.
2 Music/Choir A club for musicians. Instruments, choir practice, and concerts.
3 Flying A club for those who wish to ride brooms.
4 Track/Field A club for those who enjoy keeping fit for expeditious retreats.
5 Hunting A club for those who wish to hunt and study monsters.
6 Book For those who enjoy reading and discussing books, this club exists.

1 Chess Chess is a fine pastime for those with the mind for it.
2 Commerce A club to develop mercantile skills in young witches and wizards.
3 Dueling A club to fine-tune the dueling ability. Competes nationally.
4 Debate A club to develop the fine art of rhetoric. Competes nationally.
5 Journalism Legally obligated to have this club. A small gossip rag is produced.
6 Sports Wizarding sports are strange and bizarre. This is the club for them.
No child is perfect, most are heavily flawed. As this is an academic environment, cliques form and
bullying is commonplace. Your character is flawed in some way and this often comes to be of issue due
to rude peers, uncaring professors, and how such flaws may be self-destructive in and of themselves.

1-3 FLAW DESCRIPTION


1 Too Fat You’re a bit chunkier than most. Others mock you for this.
2 Too Tall You are too damn tall. This is more of an issue for girls than boys.
3 Inattentive You cannot pay attention during class for some reason.
4 Cowardly You are easily frightened by many things that mages deal with.
5 Too Thin You are skeletal and creepily thin. It makes people uncomfortable.
6 Too Small You are utterly tiny. It is certainly something people mock.

1 Overstressed You have a lot of pressure on you and this can cause you trouble.
2 Arrogant You think you’re much better at things than you actually are.
3 No Self-worth You don’t value yourself and lack confidence. That’s a pity.
4 Unlucky Fortune doesn’t smile on you. And when it does it is a dirty smile.
5 Lazy You often sleep when you shouldn’t and procrastinate too much.
6 Hated A lot of students and faculty hate you for some reason.
