GARDENING
Welcome, Introduction, Coloring, Decorating Terracotta Pots – Visual & Tactile: (10-15 minutes)
 Coloring pages
 Decorate Terracotta Pots?! - markers/ crayons/stickers
 DIY Modge Podge – 1 c. glue & 1/3 c. water
 Tissue paper
 Dry outside during water sensory play

Fruit/Veggie Sensory Bin – Tactile, & Olfactory: (10 minutes)

 Heavy Work
 Carrying veggies/fruit (in a bag/sack)
 Supplies:
 Sudsy Water
 Scrubbing brushes
 Water pot (cup with holes in bottom for water to drain out??)
 Ladles
 Strainer for “clean” veggies
 Real fruit/veggies
 Oranges
 Apples
 Celery
 Carrots

Garden Obstacle Course (outside): (10-15 minutes)

 Attempt to complete 2x
 Heavy work
 Carrying bags of Dirt
 Shoes off if possible
 Course Steps:
 Crawl through tunnel
 Pick up empty cup
 Jump through circles
 Scoop up seed starter (use shovel)
 Walk over balance stones
 Scoop up nutrient soil

