Lesson 91: Measuring Length


Objective: Measure objects using appropriate measuring tool cm.

Materials: centimeter ruler, charts, games and books.

Values: Cooperation

INSTRUCTIONAL PROCEDURE:

A. Preliminary Activities
1. Drill
Have pupils play a game “Give me what I want.”
Ask pupils to give you the following objects:
1. Long pencil
2. Notebook
3. Paper
4. crayon
5. ruler
2. Review :
Let the pupils measure the following using paper clips.
1. Long pencil = ________ paper clips
2. Notebook = _________paper clips
3. Paper = _____________paper clips
4. Crayon =__________paper clips
5. Ruler=___________paper clips

B. Developmental Activities

2. Presentation
Reading the selection/ Basahon ang istorya.

Naggamit si Lala sang centimeter ruler sa pagtakus sang iya nga lapis. Napulo ka sentimetro ang kalabaon

Si Omar naggamit man sang centimeter ruler sa pagtakus sang iya papel. Siyam ka sentimetro ang
kalabaon sang iya nga papel.

Sabton ang mga pamangkot:
