Scope of work
Design, develop, install & commissioning of coil forming machine, as per Pluga FE Line specifications

The machine will produce winding coils 133/ shift in 8 hour shift. The supplier is responsible to ensure
required output levels with optimum resources.

Lead Time: Approved machine at vendor end from Pluga FE technical team must be despatched from
Supplier premises within 60 days of ordering

Packing & Forwarding: Full machine to be packed properly and despatch from supplier end with robust
packaging. Supplier is responsible for any transit damage. Transit insurance to be done by Pluga FE. Supplier
to inform before dispatch

GUARANTEE OF QUALITY
The Seller guarantees that the commodity here of is made of the best materials with first class
workmanship, brand new and unused, and complies in all respects with the quality and
specification stipulated in this Contract. The Guarantee period shall be 12 months Operations from
the date on which the final acceptance protocol is signed by representatives of both parties at Pluga
FE
Payment Terms:
10 % advance (BG to be provided?), 20% after design approval, 50% after successful testing at
supplier’s end, balance to be paid within one month of successful commissioning.
Design review will be done in detail. Supplier to provide drawings to Pluga FE and visit for detail
design review (complete layout, station arrangement, trolley design, material handling, tackles,
fixtures etc.). Once the approval is done then only manufacturing will start
Acceptance Criteria
1. Look / Aesthetics of line must be world class – welding , painting, machining and other
mechanical work and processes must have very good finish and of required material
properties . All fixtures must be black iodized with excellent surface finish
2. All ranges should in the scope must be qualified in the system – Changeover less than one
minute from part to part
3. All fixtures and job contact areas shouldn’t damage and scratch paint / parts of Pumps
4. Any deviation from approved design need to be approved from technical team
5. Electrical , hydraulic , pneumatic & water lines are routed neatly to ensure safe operation
6. Cycle time shouldn’t’ exceed against our requirement of capacity mentioned above
7. Offset setting should be easily changeable
8. V4 to v6 changeover setting should be with ease and minimum changeover time

Process Details from Pluga FE

The coil forming process and range

 Winding wire is poly wrap Coil total length fig. 1 with range is from 180 mm to 600 mm
 Coil will be made for single phase and three phase
 Also this machine should be capable for copper enamel and PVC wire. This is for gaining flexibility
while higher demand Variation

Process

 Set coil forming machine (ferma) as per require model. (Set length with winding wire) . Also set coil
turn on counter as per model.
 Check winding wire diameter with micrometre and start coil forming with help of machine.
 After completion of require turn stop machine, cut end wire and insert sleeve ( as per colour code )
and tie coil with help of wire .
 Remove ferma and unload coil from ferma and put it on rack.
 In case of auto machine (three wire) ensure that three spool are available set Ferma, check machine
speed, close door properly and then start machine . (Before starting machine check program of coil
Model with actual requirement.

Make of standard & special items from supplier

 Pneumatics from Festo / SMC & Hydraulics from Bosch Rexroth- Confirm from FE
 All fixtures should have blackening , no sharp edges and having excellent surface finish
 While coil forming wire should not damage
 Single person will operate the machine and hence we need to ensure proper and approved tooling’s
and mechanical arrangement
 GA drawing approval must be done to ensure assembly process and tooling’s are in line with
expectations
 Proposal submitted by supplier must be in detail consisting process details and items( mechanical,
electrical, pneumatic , hydraulics with make) required to build the station
 Zero testing rejection is expected
 Jib crane and Hoist should be from electro make or equivalent- Confirm from FE

Documentation – Supplier to provide

- Operations & maintenance manual, Electrical, pneumatic , hydraulic circuit diagrams, Tooling
and fixture drawings soft and hard copy
- Detail layout of line
- Safety certificate for hoist and crane and tackles

Service support

 Response time to attend Break down must be within 24 hours

 Recommend the spares list and same will be mentioned in the list with price and lead time
 Critical spares must be supplied along with machine
