Assistant Teacher
Engineering for Kids - Manila
PHP 18,000 - PHP 20,000 a month
The Engineering for Kids Assistant Teacher will be directly responsible to the franchise director. In some
cases, the franchise director may delegate authority to a Lead Teacher who will work cooperatively with
the Assistant Teacher when delivering Engineering for Kids programs. The Assistant Teacher assists in
classroom management and teaching of Engineering for Kids classes.

Primary Responsibilities (may not include all duties performed)

 Collect materials from and return materials to the designated storage areas
 Support the Lead Teacher in preparing supplies at the beginning of a program
 Encourage student involvement by ensuring students begin warm-up activities and assisting
students on an individual basis
 Practice excellence in teaching when offering Engineering for Kids programs
 Ensure classes operate smoothly by conducting tasks such as observing and recording data
during student tests, managing supplies during class, and assisting in demonstrations
 Provide appropriate instruction that considers the unique abilities of every student
 Constantly strive to improve instruction through reflection and evaluation
 Demonstrate initiative by seeking additional Engineering for Kids training and further education

Primary Duties

 Support Engineering for Kids classes in a professional manner

 Be courteous and approachable by students, parents, and staff
 Follow polices of the franchise location which include, but are not limited to, safety procedures
and dress code
 Follow procedures found in Engineering for Kids documentation and curriculum
  Use effective teaching skills that motivate students to learn
