Newsletter (30%)

You have been assigned to produce the next issue of your company newsletter. The newsletter is
published quarterly to keep stakeholders updated regarding the recent happenings in your
company. In a group of 5-6 persons, write a newsletter covering various topics of your choice. It
should also be well-organized with main / sub-headings depending on the topic of the
discussions. Invent the necessary details and include additional information or visual elements
that are relevant. The newsletter should be submitted by Week 9, Friday (26 July 2019), 5pm.

It is advised that your newsletter should cover three main sections:

i) Introduction (Group task)

An introduction of your company.
- Brief history; vision and mission

ii) A Word from the Editor (Group task)

Introduction of the current newsletter
- Overview of the contents.

iii) Body (Individual task)

A collection of write-ups related to your company:

(a) Future Events (2 events)

(b) Ongoing Event (2 events)
(c) Past Events (2 events)
*The length of the write-up must be around 400-500 words per event.

Some examples of newsletter content are provided below. However your content need not
be limited to these examples.
I . Annual financial report
II. Promotion or retirement of staff
III. Introduction or review of new products
IV. Interesting events (teambuilding, annual dinner, sale, charity event, etc.)

 Please do create your own company, logo and other necessary details. You are
not allowed to use existing companies’ logo and details.
 The format of the newsletter is up to the students’ creativity.
 Presentation on the newsletter will be held from Week 11 onwards.
