INTRODUCTION
Caregiver misconduct is a significant and growing concern in the State of
Israel. Approximately One million vulnerable elderly and disabled people
over the age of 65 reside throughout the country. According to forecast,
by the year 2035 some 14.6% of Israel Population will be over age of 65,
with the elderly population predicted to roughly double to 2 million people.
In July of 2017, the ministry of Labour, Welfare and Social Services said
that reports of Neglect and abuse of the elderly by family and caregivers
went up by 17% in 2016, including a 20% rise in reports of sexual abuse.
Allegations of abuse, neglect or misappropriation of property were reported
in Israel long-term care settings. Of those, 33% cases related to
psychological abuse, 21% to physical abuse and 18% to economic
exploitation. Of the 5876 reports received in total, 102 related to sexual
abuse, a rise of 20% compared with 2015, the report said.

This project proposed to reduce the incidence of abuse and neglect by

developing and presenting training for caregivers that would increase
awareness of potential abuse and neglect and give caregivers the
necessary interpersonal skills to respond more appropriately in challenging
situations. Training materials were based on the practical that a well-trained
caregivers are less likely to mistreat those in their care. The training
materials consist of 30th classroom-style topical training as well as a

replicating 6 different scenarios of abuse, neglect or misappropriation of
property. Two separate workshops were planned. One covered the topical
material and the second workshop reviewed the VIDEO training material.
In order to reach the highest level of satisfaction, the project scheduled
numerous trains-the trainer workshops as well, designed to teach long-

AIMS & OBJECTIVES

ORGANIZATIONAL GOAL DRIVING THE TRAINING:
We assume that caregivers in the modern day care settings have so many
skills gaps, to which the individual is unable to respond to a certain
challenging situations. We predicted the case to how caregivers and their
skills gaps shall

THE SKILL GAP:

The position of a caretaker is of extreme responsibility – there is no better way
to describe it. The professionals in this job look after the overall cleanliness,
maintenance and security of a building or premises. Being a caretaker,
involves a lot of mettle in a candidate since the amount of responsibility is
diverse and extreme. Unsurprisingly, a caretaker needs to have a certain type
of personality traits and the skills to go with it in order to be successful in what
he does. They need to be honest, hardworking and dependable and extremely
self-motivated.

Major Skill gaps we predicted in caregivers in the modern day settings:

a) Lack of awareness of potential abuse and neglect.

b) Lack of Improved interpersonal skills, e.g. communication, observing

professional boundaries, maintaining professional demeanour, etc.

c) In providing effective strategies for responding appropriately in challenging

situations with residents or clients.

COMPETENCIES BUILDING (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS OR ATTITUDES)

Learning falls into one of these three categories.
These categories are often referred to as (KSA’s).

KNOWLEDGE (K)
SKILLS (S)
ATTITUDES (A)

KNOWLEDGE Cognitive or mental abilities used to retain and process information.

SKILLS Physical abilities used to perform activities or task.

ATTITUDES Feelings or Emotions about someone or something.

Learning Categories for Knowledge, Skills, and Attitudes

(KSA's).
If a person is learning something new, it will fall into one of the three
categories.

a). Learning facts and concepts would fall into the category of knowledge.
b). Learning how to do something would be in the skills category.
c). Learning to form a new or different viewpoint or belief would fall into the
Attitude category.

Training and Educational Programs for KSA's:

Through educational and training activities, a person can acquire new
knowledge, develop new skills, or form a new attitude. Typically, most training
and educational programs have focussed on the development of knowledge
and skills, as those are the ones that are most observable and easiest to
measure. Attitudes, on the other hand, are addressed the least by traditional
training and educational programs because they are the most difficult for
people to develop, and are the hardest to measure for results.

We will focus on giving the individual the exact knowledge on how KSA's
should be develop in their own daily doses

PRESENT SCENARIO
The fact is that training is a part and parcel of Human Resources Development
program in any industry or sector. Likewise we can not underestimate the
training on caregivers or care taking because lack of proper training and
awareness raise the number of caregiver misconduct and the incidence of
abuse and neglect day by day.
Increasing interest of Individual on taking care-giving jobs, we have seen
people from far flung area specially North-East India coming to the capital for
Inquiry on job and training. In past few years some 1500 plus caretakers has
been placed by different agencies and institutions in Israel. But out of this we
also have seen people suffering with a fraudulent cases of misguiding and
placement. So, we with our expert team of professional from different fields
of training, recruitment and placement, accommodation and travelling will set
up a hassle free services to the Individual coming for the training in our
institute. We will set up with a very friendly services to the candidates in a
very reasonable fees and expenses. With this we will try to minimise with the
cost that candidates pay knowingly or unknowingly for the service which we
think is not necessary and important.

Subject to the challenges face by the candidates at the present scenario.

1. Travelling and Stay Threats: Majority of the candidates came for the
training are from Northeastern States Like Sikkim, Darjeeling, Assam,
Nagaland, Meghalaya, Manipur etc. So, travelling from far Northeast States
to the mainland is one among the big issues face by the candidates today.
The process in itself cost tons of Money and Time. We notice people all do
this with compulsion.

2. Facial Features: Since everyone knows that North easterners facial

features is different from Mainland people. So many times Northeast people
have been the victim of such racism.

3. Different Dialect: Language is one of other serious concern. Since,

everyone is not perfect in speaking Hindi as other Delhi peoples do. The
inferiority in the dialect often get people into trouble and sometimes it is
unfortunately a life threat to the people.

4. Food & Accommodation: Several time Northeastern peoples are

targeted in Restaurants, Hotels and in streets vendors in related to foods they
eat. This gap is somewhat like, which will never be filled. Into accommodation
issues, candidates are often charged with unreasonable fares.

09
DIVINE

They are cheated in everything. From Taxi to Autorikshaw to Restaurants to

Hotels. Since everyone is new to the place and language being the gap to
communicate properly they are cheated in broad day light without any
hesitation. The locals influence force them to live in tragedy honestly speak.
They have to share a small single room with 4 peoples to survive for several
months in a small budget. This is the matter of concern i would put to your
authority to understand for this poor job seekers. This will not add any value
to the training they are getting. The physical, mental, financial pressure put
them more into aggression than to study.

5. Harassment: Northeastern people are harassed and humiliated

verbally as well as physically. Though Delhi is gaining popularity in sexual
assaults and number keep on increasing every day. Number of northeastern
girls suffering from such cases of eve teasing are more. People have
stereotype thinking against them and have given them a tag of ‘easily
available’ because of their westernized attitude.

Most of Northeastern Indians are liberals. Their lifestyle reflects western

culture. Especially Northeastern girls who come to Delhi for Education or
job opportunities are offended for their dress up and living style.

I conclude here with a humble submission for your kind consideration that a
simple changes from your administration into the Care taking section may
bring beatitude to many people's face.

A Training Centre in Northeast States may bring smile to millions of faces

out of this uncountable challenges and fears. Specially to the parents &
the childrens of the willing caretakers.

Our demand is genuinely for the welfare of our people who are suffering in
all form of Life for their livelihood.

CONCLUSION
The Objective of this presentation is to proposed a training centre which we
declared will be an excellence in providing caregiver training in a most
reliable, distinctive, affordable and presentable format.

I would love to put some key conclusions and findings related to the training
of Caregivers and the challenges facing by the candidates in a daily note.

1. The most important conclusion in the presentation, is that candidates are

less trained and more pressurised. They are initially class with a basics know
how of care taking. I believe that such level of teaching, will only feed
negative implications to the learner’s brain than to care-taking.

2. For most conditions analysed candidates must be trained by a highly

qualified faculties with more hands on practical classes than theory. Since
most of the willing candidates came from an impoverished background. They
are unaware of the modern day teaching, techniques, equipments, skills and
setups. So, they have to be indoctrinate with outmost care.

3. Candidates in the present scenario are seen Mentally, Physically,

Emotionally and Financially disturbed. Lack of proper guidance beginning
from the enrollment, to long distance travelling, from fooding, to accommod-
ating themselves. People are endure for months in the streets of Delhi.
Ultimately people loses their values, confidences, wills, and return back home
with so many negative aggressions.

With a very pragmatic services in all areas of challenges, we would love to

give every candidates a revised confidence and a bounce back impressions
in their life once again.

Sir, Since the authority of Israel allow Indian caretaker to live and work in
Israel. We on our diversified paradigm would love to pray to your authority to
look into the matter and give us an opportunity to served our people on your
behalf with much professional setup and care.
