Enclosure 6140

The Enclosure 6140 is a multi-

standard and multi-function cabinet
with a heat exchanger (HEX)
solution. It is designed to support
multiple configuration options of
baseband, power, backhaul and
batteries in the same cabinet and
thereby ensuring a smooth
transition between the radio
equipment for best performance.
The Enclosure 6140 is the ideal
choice for large radio and baseband
configurations, high battery back-up
time or as an all-in-one solution, all
in a small footprint.

The cabinet is built with a robust

design, IP55 compliance, and the
HEX climate system is verified for
the Ericsson high class product
portfolio and can be configured for
either AC or DC site power to
support up to 18 Remote Radio
Units. The AC version has ten units
(10U) of 19-inch rack space and
can provide up to 8kW of output -
48V DC power and battery back-up
up to 210Ah. The DC version
provides twenty-one units (21U) of
19-inch rack space.

Thanks to its smart form factor it

simplifies the installation with all
equipment in the same cabinet
suitable on ground or on a rooftop.
