COMPLAINT

The undersigned, Chief of Police of Loay Police Station, Loay, Bohol, Philippines, after
having duly sworn to in accordance with law, hereby accuses Jomar Villegas y Lenawan, 19,
single and a resident of Villalimpia, Loay, Bohol, Philippines, for Frustrated Murder
committed as follows:
That on or about July 21, 2019 in the municipality of Loay, and within the jurisdiction of this
Honorable Court, the above-named respondent, by means of treachery, committed with intent to
kill, and without justifiable cause, did then and there willfully, unlawfully and feloniously attack,
assault and stab one Mark Anthony Ednalig y Tuyor, with the use of a kitchen knife directed to
the neck, thus performing all the acts of execution which would have produced the crime of murder
as a consequence but nevertheless did not produce it by reason of a cause independent of the will
of the accused, that is, due to the timely and able medical attendance rendered to the said Mark
Anthony Ednalig y Tuyor which prevented his death, to the damage and prejudice on the said
victim in the amount to be proved during trial.

2019

An investigation was conducted on this case under my direct supervision after having been
duly examined witness’s deposition.
PRAYER

WHEREFORE, it is respectfully prayed that a Preliminary Investigation be conducted on the

instant case and file the corresponding information should the evidence so warrant.
