ORDER:

In the Government order 1st read above, permission was accorded for all the retired
Government employees and their dependents to avail the option of drawing medical
reimbursement amount in the office where the employee last worked or in the District Office of
the Department concerned where the retired employee has settled after his retirement.
2. Keeping in view the bifurcation, Government have issued orders, in the Government
th
order 6 read above wherein it was ordered to adopt the following procedure in the matter of
medical reimbursement of pensioners:-
1. The medical reimbursement of pensioners shall be drawn from the
HOD of the Sate where he is drawing his pension.
2. After disbursement of medical reimbursement, the amount may be apportioned
between the two States as was done in the case of pension and pensionery benefits.
3. Keeping in view of the above circumstances, Government after careful examination of
the matter, hereby order that all the HODs of Andhra Pradesh and A.P. Secretariat,
departments have to present the Medical Reimbursement bills to the Head Quarters Treasury
of A.P. at Hyderabad in respect of pensioners of Andhra Pradesh who retired after appointed
day of 02-06-2014 i.e., Class-IV employees and family pensioners of the deceased employees
of Andhra Pradesh, while working after appointed day at Hyderabad. In respect of pensioners
drawing pensions in districts, the earlier procedure as envisaged in para 5 of G.O.Ms.No.16,
HM&FW (K1) Dept., dt.10-1-2001 shall be continued.
4. All Andhra Pradesh Secretariat Departments and all the Heads of the Departments shall
take action accordingly in the matter.

5. This order issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department vide their
U.O.No.34/Budget.II/2014, dated. 13-08-2014.
