    UON Graduate Research

    Three Minute Thesis Registration Form - 2019

    ELIGIBILITY:
    All research students are eligible to participate in the Faculty heats and UON final, however only active
    PhD candidates who have successfully passed confirmation and processed all paperwork through UON GR
    by their first presentation have the chance to represent UON at the Asia-Pacific final at the University of
    Queensland.
    Rules, information and dates relating to the 3MT Competition are available here.
    NUPSA have scheduled training sessions for all interested participants.
    The UON 3MT final is planned be held on Friday 23 August 2019 at the Conservatorium 4:00pm - 6:00pm.

    • if you are selected as a finalist for your Faculty, you will be available and attend in person the UON final on
    Friday 23 August 2019.
    • if you are the winner of the University of Newcastle final, you will be available and attend the
    Asia-Pacific Final at the University of Queensland on Friday 4 October 2019 in person (travel costs are
    covered by UON),
    • you agree to media exposure of your presentation and research.
