    Dear Mrs. M. Singh,

    I am writing to you in regard to applying at the Cooperative Education Program for students at
    Shoppers Drug Mart. I am really interested in being a part of the team of Health professionals at
    Shoppers Drug Mart. I have applied for the available positions as a pharmacy assistant.

    Throughout my life, I have sparked an interest towards the medical field since I was young. This
    is because I come from a medical-oriented background from my family. Although I chose to not
    let this influence my decision towards my career choices, I have naturally found myself to be
    particularly attracted to the medical field, through my experiences at school, work and volunteer
    opportunities that I had partaken in. I am confident and approachable, both qualities that I find to
    be a great balance for someone who specializes in the medical field. I also push myself to be an
    all-rounded person, not only through having multiple priorities in life such as school and work,
    but also through implementing personal hobbies in life such as Music and photography.
    Furthermore, to express my leadership skills in my community, I am the President of the Fitness
    Club at my school (Cardinal Carter Catholic High School). It is through these multiple
    opportunities that I choose to ignite my communication skills, leadership qualities, and initiative
    character. As I continually work on myself through different aspects of my life, I choose to be
    disciplined and determined to achieve all my goals. My ambition towards obtaining the privilege
    of working in the medical field is what I personally use to drive myself to exploring rewarding
    opportunities such as the cooperative education program at Shoppers Drug Mart.

    The idea of being a pharmacy assistant at Shoppers Drug Mart, sparked great interest within me.
    If given the opportunity, I would love to work at the pharmacy at Shoppers Drug Mart. I would
    love to be apart of one of the biggest medical franchises such as Shoppers Drug Mart, which is
    home to one of the most respected medical professions.
    I have enclosed a resume for further information about myself. Please do not hesitate to contact
    me regarding any questions that you have. I look forward to being a student mentored by the
    respective health professionals at Shoppers Drug Mart.
