COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This course satisfies the compulsory project requirement of preparing project study. It will demonstrate the knowledge and skills acquired in engineering by completing an individual project
from a selection of broad project headings, in the areas of design, hydraulics and fluid mechanics, estimates and construction methods, and management to cover the aspects of
marketing, production and technical, organization and management, environmental, financial and socio-economic. This will enable the students to apply all the aspects in the engineering
course which will be packaged in a completed project proposal and project study. This subject will also include the conduct of field seminar to identified industrial areas which will enable
the students to acquire exposure in the actual application of construction methods and processes in construction projects, gain additional learning and knowledge in the actual field which
could not be acquired in classroom instruction and provide opportunities for future employment in visited project sites and construction firms.

The arrangement of these topics throughout the semester is listed here in sequence.
1. Introduction and Orientation – Definitions,
2.
