2019-2020 SUGGESTED SUPPLY LIST

5th GRADE

Welcome to the Fifth Grade! We look forward to working with you and your child this school
year. PLEASE STORE EXTRA SUPPLIES (like notebook paper and pencils) AT HOME SO
THAT THEY WILL NOT BE LOST BEFORE THEY ARE NEEDED. Check with your child
throughout the year to see that they have all of these supplies with them on a daily
basis.

SCHOOL SUPPLIES:
• WIDE RULE, LOOSE-LEAF NOTEBOOK PAPER- MULTIPLE PACKS
• Pencils, Pencils, Pencils (no. 2)
• PENCIL SHARPENER WITH COVER TO CATCH SHAVINGS
• SCISSORS, intermediate
• 2-3 SOLID GLUE STICKS
• ZIPPER POUCH FOR PENCILS, SCISSORS, GLUE, ETC.
(NO PENCIL BOXES PLEASE!)
• Language Arts (1 COMPOSITION BOOK)
• Science (3-SUBJECT SPIRAL NOTEBOOK)
• 1 – 3 inch, 3-ring notebook
• 1 pkg. of subject dividers
• TWO OF THE FOLLOWING:
 MARKERS NO Sharpies, please!
 COLORED PENCILS
 CRAYONS
• PAIR OF PERSONAL EAR BUDS (earphones)

Also, teachers would gladly accept DONATIONS of the following items for their classrooms:

• 3 BOXES OF TISSUES
• PAPER TOWELS
• CLOROX WIPES
• HAND SANITIZER

Rolling backpacks and Trapper Keeper style notebooks typically do NOT fit in the lockers AND
backpacks are not allowed in the classroom. PLEASE do NOT send these kinds of backpacks
or notebooks to school.
