of the society?

d. Discussion
Definition of Terms:
 Passion – it is a feeling of intense enthusiasm towards or compelling desire
for someone or something
 Vocation – it is one’s response to a call from beyond oneself to use one’s
strength and gifts to make the world a better place through service,
creativity, and leadership
 Profession – it is an occupation founded upon specialized educational
training, the purpose of which is to supply disinterested objective counsel
and service to others, for a direct and definite compensation, wholly apart
from expectation of other business gain.
Strategy: Interactive Discussion and Group Sharing
Questions:
1. Who were your influencers to undertake your chosen career?
With the growing population of HUMSS students, with the influence of the
successful people having a good career in life, together with my supportive
parents, I took this career. Because in HUMSS, there are a lot of professions
that can be chosen.
2. What is the significance of your dream profession?
The significance of my dream profession is that it can help to change the
world, the present situation that we are into. It will not only help me as a
professional but it can contribute in many aspects of our growing society.
3. What will you choose, Money or Passion?
These two words are very important in a sense that they go together. But, if
I were to choose, I will be choosing passion because even if you have all
the means and the money to but everything, if you are not enjoying then,
you will not be able to say that you are a successful professional. Everything
that we do, it must cater our skills and interests.
e. Generalization
State your Vision. The students are ask to create their own vision in life which will
be put in front of the DISS notebook.
IV. Evaluation
Timeline. The students will create a timeline wherein it will portray their plans and
steps in achieving their goals in life.
V. Synthesis
Knowing where you want to be is very important. Pursuing your dreams with passion
is what matters because if you are just doing a thing because of someone wants you to
do it but you are not really into it, then you cannot give your best because you are just
doing it for compliance and not for commitment. As a HUMSS student, you must
become one of the assets of our country and strive to become be globally competitive
in order to contribute for the betterment of the world.
VI. Assignment
Have an advance reading on the area of Anthropology.
