Mr.

Laxmikant Joshi is a community schoolteacher currently teaching at Shree Dhangadhi Model Technical
School, Dhangadhi. Previously, he taught at Shree Laxmi Secondary School, Gauriganga. He has more than
5 years of experience in teaching at community schools. Moreover, he has also taught at few private
schools before joining community schools. He was the coordinator of International School Award program
at his current school in 2016 when his school won this reputed award presented by British Council and
Department of Education. He has also presented a paper titled, “Developing Basic Level Students’ Ability
to write poems” at Second Annual ELT Conference, T.U. He is also currently working as an Access Instructor
at Kailali Access Center for the English Access Micro Scholarship Program.

He is M.ED in English Education from Tribhuwan University and is one of the leading youths working for
the improvement of English teaching and learning at schools of Farwest Province. He was the former
Mentee of Aptis Action Research Mentoring Scheme (AARMS) and he presented his Explanatory Action
Research on the issue, “Poor Performance of Basic Level Students in Pair Works”. He is the life member
of NELTA, Kailali and is engaged with various social organizations. He was the past President of Rotaract
Club of Dhangadhi and is the current vice president of Youths’ Voice Group.
