SCHOOL’S ACCOUNTABILITY ASSESSMENT FRAMEWORK

(Sample Introduction)
Performance in schools is increasingly judged on the basis of effective learning outcomes.
Information is critical to knowing whether the school system is delivering good performance and
to providing feedback for improvement in student outcomes.
Raising academic standards for all students and measuring student achievement to hold
accountable for educational progress are central strategies for promoting educational excellence
and equity. And to establish a system of ensuring the attainment of its vision, mission, and goals,
the school has developed the following accountability framework.

(Explain here how each component in the diagram represents and how is it realized. Then, discuss the
roles of each category/component/indicator and indicate what mechanism is done by the school to
ensure proper accountability assessment.)

(What does the school do (implementing guidelines/mechanisms) for each of the components
mentioned?) Example in this framework: leadership and governance, curriculum development, learning
environment, resources, transparency, review of standards, monitoring and evaluation, assessment,
reporting, etc. Cite guidelines on each component to show and ensure your accountability.

Notes: The sample framework presented here may or may not reflect the actual accountability
assessment in your school. Indicators used are presumptions only to guide you in making your own.
Please do not copy it in toto or verbatim. You can make your own contents and format provided it has
the basic components and implementing guidelines.
