Colors Everywhere
To familiarize students with parts of a
system or a machine, they will color a
printout as in a coloring book. Students
will use a legend when coloring, e.g., a
red line corresponds to the aorta. They
may use books or other references to
complete the task.
Heads Up
This is adapted from a mobile game,
with modifications. To introduce a topic,
pictures or words will be placed on a
contestant’s head, which he/she will
guess with the aid of a classmate who
will use gestures to give clues.
Rebus mania
Students will guess the
term/concept/statement from words,
letters, drawings, or a combination of
two or all of these shown to them.
Tree of Knowledge
This task is similar to Dear Diary, albeit
students will write their ideas on a small
piece of paper, which will serve as an
exit slip. As they go out, they will attach
the slips to a paper cut out of a tree or a
drawing of a tree on a manila paper.
Quiz Show
The format of this activity will be based
on those seen on TV or in academic
contests, depending on teachers’ and
students’ preferences. If available,
students have their improvised answer
boards.
Building a Portfolio
Students will show their best work in
their portfolios or show their
development within the week.
Vlogging
Students will create a video log about
what they have learned, which is an
audio-visual counterpart of their
journals. They may also act like a
professional who is blogging about
