Dasa and Planet in MB

If we find the planet in MB we should consider the following points for
dasa considerations. The most difficult task is to find out in which
major period or sub period or minor period the plant in MB will render
result. Actually, there is no specific pattern at all and lots of work to be
done as to which system of planetary period of MB planet will give
result. Here we undertake Vimsottari Dasa and Sudarshan Chakra
Dasa to check the results of MB planet.

In this paper / article we primarily worked on charts of marriage

troubles. The ayananmsa taken is Lahiri (CP) with topocentric values
of planets and true nodes.

The table considered for MB degree is as under. This table given is the
one that is detailed in Jataka Parijata translated by V Subramanya Sastri
(Chapetr-1; Verse-57; page-88), the most widely accepted format for MB.

Step-1:
In first step, we have to ascertain the functionaries of planet in MB,
which is for simplicity briefed in our first chapter / article of MB and
BCP. The same is reproduced with other parameters in modified
manner.
 Identify the planet(s) occupying the MB degree referring the
above table. Then, note down the sign and planets in
conjunction, receiving and giving aspect, depositor and lordship
of MB planet by its position. Sign is to be considered in the
similar line of planets to fructify the event in Rashi Dasa of
choice.
 If this planet in MB is aspected by (or) aspects the dusthana
lords (Lords of 6-8-12H) then pay attention since this can give
clue to good deal of troubles. In brief it can be said that if
affliction is by 6th then the trouble-suffer is minor or recoverable,
if by 8th then it will be chronic or not curable and if by 12 th then it
will be permanent and may be the genetic/congenital in nature.
This is more so in the cases of diseases, defects, physical-
mental conditions etc. and more or less in other cases of
troubles where predominance differ.
 Maraka element of the MB planet in a particular house may be
considered while assessing its impacts in the above manner.
For instance, Venus for Scorpio ascendant is the lord of the 7H
in MB and posited in 5H then it means that Venus becomes
maraka (for 5H is 11H there from = maraka) and Jupiter (as the
lord of 8H & 11H from 7H) also becomes maraka. In that case,
if Jupiter or Venus having aspectual or conjunctional relation
problem or trouble in marriage life is more likely and if this
extends to 7H the trouble is for sure. This is the proper reason
why classics said that 7th lord in 5H is bad for marriage and this
is more so in case of moveable sign in 7H where 5H i.e. 11 th
there from becomes badhaka [on conditions met] also.
 On the above line, Badhaka element is also to be considered.
In the above instance, if Saturn turns badhaka if conditions of
22nd D-3 (khara dreskana) and Mandi ruler are satisfied having
to do with Venus and 7H then also trouble in marriage life is
there.
These are the example of marriage life and can be
detailed out for any other house’s significations.
 Lord of asterism of planet in MB degree is also to be
considered while assessing the result of a particular bhaava.
Step-2:
In the second step, we will consider the dasa concept. It is very
difficult to say with surety that planet in MB will give its result in a
particular period of major, sub or minor. This is because there are
predominance difference according to maraka, duhasthana,
malevolence divisions afflictions etc. etc. However, we will try to
categorize as under.
 Planet fructifying in Major Period is the depositor of MB planet
or planet aspects or aspected by it, both being benefic or
functional benefic or planet in good strength. This also applies
to the signs in case of Rasi Dasa.
 Planet fructifying the result in sub period is MB planet itself, its
depositor, ruling bahava of MB planet and planet aspect on and
is aspected by the planet all being malefic and functional
malefic or planet in ill strength. Planet in relation to MB planet
and is afflicted in the manner as elaborated in step one then the
result will fructify in sub period or minor period or both. If more
than one-two planets are involved, the native may experience
bilateral-multilateral i.e. remission effect. This also applies to
the signs in case of Rasi Dasa.

Step-3:
Here we will record the Vimsottari Dasa and Sudarshan Chakra Dasa
in progress.

Step-4:
Evaluate the natal MB planet vis-à-vis other MB planet in transit wrt
the change in result giving course of dasa from major to sub or minor
period or a new planetary period.

Step-5:
Now, consider the result of the house that is most likely to fructify and
tally with the actual event.

In order to achieve accuracy in determining the events one should be

well versed with attributes of houses-signs-planets and the karaka
tatvas (significations) of planets. Subject matter of this paper/article is
charts of marriage troubles.

Moon is in MB at 19 Aq 48; posited in 7H and is the ruler of 12H of
spouse separation i.e. 6th from 7H where Moon posited.
Saturn & its signs (10-11) = Moon posited in Aquarius
Rahu and its sign (11 or 6) = With Moon, nakstra lord of Moon.
Sun, Venus, Mercury, Ketu and their signs = Moon and their mutual
aspect, all become maraka
Mars and its signs = posited in Moon sign in debilitation aspecting
Moon.

Srep-2:
Planets fructify in Major Period are Venus (137% shadbal), Mercury
(116% of shadbal) being benefic, Sun being ascendant lord and their
sign.
Results giving planets in Sub or Minor period are Saturn sign
depositor and in 8th of MB Moon, nodes affecting MB Moon, Mars in
Moon sign aspecting Moon from 12th i.e. 6th from 7H where MB Moon
posited. Signs are also to consider for Rasi Dasa.

Step-4:
On the event date from 12.20 pm on wards, Sun is in MB in transit at
05 Cancer 37 and can change the dasa course of Sun itself, Venus
and Mercury [actually within the 2-3 days of the event Mercury-Venus
are also in MB] as all these are karaka-maraka of marriage. Ketu-
Mars are ruler of Gruhastha ashrama and sun in MB in transit in
Cancer in 12th where debilitated Mars preoccupied. Therefore, Venus
and Mercury being benefic can give result in major as well as minor
period also; so their signs as well.

Step-5:
The most afflicted house is 7H for the reason that Moon in the karaka
of relations and lord of bed pleasure the 12H is in MB. In addition,
Moon is crippled in 7H by the nodes and debilitated Mars. Being in
12th debilitated aspecting the Moon and lord of 11H, Mars loses its
functional benefic signification. It is note worthy that Moon-Saturn-
Mars are in 6/8 axel to each other from 7H and by one way or the
other connected to marriage and its break.

Mercury’s major period as afflicted by MB moon, Venus retro maraka

as aspected by Moon in sub period and Saturn the lord of 7H in 8 th
there from and ruler of MB Moon in minor period give their respective
results related to 7H which not good and troublesome.

As Moon is the factor we consider SCD from Moon it has given result
to MB = Gemini major period-Gemini sub period – Libra minor period.

Divorced date of this native is 21-july-1992 after 7 yrs of completed

marriage.

Exalted Venus and its sign = Venus in MB in Mercury nakstra

Ketu-Mercury and their sign = conjoined to Venus

Rahu and its sign = receives aspect of Venus

Pisces sign = Venus is posited there.

Jupiter and its signs = Jupiter aspects Venus both becomes maraka

Saturn and Aquarius sign = 22nd D-3 from Venus.

Mars = posited in Venus sign.

Step-2

Mercury and Jupiter both being benefice can give the result in their
major period.

All other planets and their signs can give the result in sub or minor

Step-4

On 13-May-1994 Mercury at 13 Taurus 0.20 is in MB in Moon nakstra

in Taurus the sign of Venus and in natal chart it is in Saturn nakstra
from 00.59 AM onwards at birth place. These planets and signs can
also give adversities in their sub or minor period. Here Moon is a new
planet due to transit MB planet connected to natal MB planet.

Step-5

The most affected houses are 7th, 5th and 11th primarily with Venus in
MB and this clearly indicates some inherent problem in married life.
The boost is Mercury in MB in transit and change the entire course of
dasa. All this is decipher above.
Major period of Jupiter can give the result as it is the depositor of MB
Venus the karaka and lord of 7H, giving the aspect on 7H causes
trouble to married life.

Saturn is the ruler of khara from Venus and also the nakstra lord of
natal debilitated Mercury which is in turn in transit in MB in Moon
nakstra. Mercury is with natal Venus and its nakstra lord also. So
11H and 7H are worst affected and this seen for marriage which may
cause troubles. So due to the transit effect Saturn and Moon sub-
minor period comes in picture to play their role.

Venus being factor SCD from ascendant is considered for fructifying

the event all connected to MB Venus being Libra MD-Taurus AD –
Taurus PD.

A first Divorce date is 13 May 1994.

Second Divorce dates April 1999, taking birth date it will be 6-April-
1999.

The second marriage is seen from 9th house being next younger to
first marriage and the 12th house being enemy of the 7H house as it is
6th from there seen for tragic mishaps to first marriage or even
‘sautan’. This concept is used here and evaluations will be made
accordingly.

On the above event date at 2.30 AM at birth place Sun at 22Pi15 and
Moon at 22Sc02 are in transit MB both has nothing to do with the MB
Venus. But both are in nakstra of Mercury which is with MB Venus in
natal chart so indirectly they are connected.

Step-5

Major period of Jupiter can give the adverse result as is benefic and
is connected to the MB planet Venus the lord of 12H of second
marriage. Venus itself is posited in 6th house trouble to the second
marriage can well give its result in sub period.

SCD from ascendant is Pisces which is posited by MB Venus in the

6th from second marriage house can give its results in major period
and Sagittarius is also Jupiter sign connected to MB Venus in turn
and is 6th from 9th house of second marriage and can give its result in
its sub period and Scorpio sing is posited by Jupiter aspecting MB
planet and is relevant to give result in its minor period.

Third divorce dates 21 May 2007.

The marriage is seen from 5H and 11H; sign involved are Pisces lord

Step-5
Saturn is the lord of khara from MB Venus posited in 3 rd marriage
house of Pisces and its major and principally sub period can give the
adverse result of third marriage; and Mercury is the lord of minor
period and third marriage with and its sign Virgo aspected by the MB
planet.

Jupiter is connected to MB Venus and its sign position is Scorpio the

major period sign being the lord of third marriage. Cancer sign is well
aspected by Jupiter and can give result in its sub period and Gemini
the sign of Mercury is with MB Venus in the house of third marriage
also adversely affect it.
