    DROMIDE-939 is a co-solvent soluble polyamide resin suitable for propanol toluene solvent blends that shows excellent adhesion to untreated polypropylene and polyethylene substrates. It is a yellowish brown clear granule with specifications including a viscosity of 20 ± 5 Sec, acid value below 15 max, and melting point of 90 ± 5°C. DROMIDE-939 is soluble in mixtures of hydrocarbons and alcohols and is compatible with some grades of maleic/ketone formaldehyde resins and nitrocellulose. It can be used in flexographic and gravure printing inks for films and is virtually non-toxic but combustible.

    TYPE : DROMIDE-939 is an co-solvent soluble polyamide resin suitable for propanol toluene solvent blends. This product shows

    SPECIFICATION :

    Appearance Yellowish brown clear granules


    Viscosity @30°C by FcB4 40% in Toluene+Butanol+IPA (1:1:1) 20 ± 5 Sec
    Color gardner(Viscosity Solution) 12 max
    Amine value mgs KOH/gm < 8 max.
    Acid value, mgs KOH/gm < 15 max.
    Melting point C (Capillary Method) 90 ± 5°C

    SOLUBILITY : DROMIDE 939 is soluble in mixture of hydrocarbon & alcohols such as Toluene, Butanol, IPA.

    COMPATIBILITY: DROMIDE 939 is compatible with low melting grades of Maleic and Ketone Formaldehyde
    resin, some grades of Nitro Cellulose to limited extent, plasticizers like D.B.P. D.O.P. and Di Octyl Adipate.

    APPLICATIONS : DROMIDE 939 find wide applications in flexographic and gravure liquid printing inks for
    BOPP, PE, HDPE,
