Learning activity 4

Evidence: My motivators

Studies of successful individuals have found that there are a few motivators that
guide their career and job choices, and make working an enjoyable and successful
experience for them. Below you will find a list with the motivators that are most
commonly mentioned by high-achieving people. For this evidence you have to
organize them in order of importance from 1 (the most important) to 10 (the least
important) and write a composition expressing how they have been part of your
professional development. Recycle the grammar and vocabulary you have learned
in this learning activity. (Example: I feel variety is the most important factor in my
motivation. I don’t like doing repetitive things. In my current job I have learned how
to use Photoshop and how to market different products online. I am becoming very
good at it and now I am able to teach others.)

In my opinion, security is the most important thing, because it is

synonymous with trust, it shows your optimism, you believe in yourself
and it helps you to wait for yourself for your own safety.

Independence has been very important in my training, because I

depend on myself, I don't expect someone else to do things to me, I
keep myself, I commit and motivate myself to get my own things.

The challenge has been and continues to be my third motivation to

overcome obstacles. : when something represents a challenge for me. I
try to achieve it, I try not to faint and be even stronger.

Interest has been my engine to put enthusiasm in the things I do.

Variety is a good incentive not to fall into monotony.

Relationships allow me to make friends and meet people who share my

same interests and concerns.

The competition inspires me to constantly improve to prevent people

from surpassing me so easily.

Working hard and seeing the results in your lifestyle is also a good
motivation and a good resource for your life.

The recognition of people is a reward that makes me think that all the
effort made in my activities was not in vain.

Money has never been my motivation.

With money we can aspire to live a better life, but I don't feel satisfied
being rich. It seems absurd and insulting to accumulate material wealth,
because what is the use of man having such wealth and that his soul is
lost?
