A mixture is defined as the result of combining two or more substances,

such that each maintains its chemical identity. In other words, a chemical reaction
does not occur between components of a mixture.

Examples of Mixtures

 Flour and sugar may be combined to form a mixture.

 Sugar and water form a mixture.
 Marbles and salt may be combined to form a mixture.
 Smoke is a mixture of solid particles and gases.
 Oil and water
 Lemon juice and tea
 Honey and tea
 Milk and chocolate
 Coffee and cream
 Cream and sugar
 Flour and butter
 Cereal and milk
 Oatmeal and raisins
 Flour and milk
 Orange juice and champagne
 Sugar and water
 Sugar and tea
 Tonic water and lime juice
 Soda and vanilla syrup
 A pure substance or chemical substance is a material that has a constant
composition(is homogeneous) and has consistent properties throughout the
sample. A pure substance participates in a chemical reaction to form predictable
products. In chemistry, a pure substance consists only of one type of atom,
molecule, or compound. In other disciplines, the definition extends to
homogeneous mixtures

Here are examples of pure substances.

 Examples of pure substances include tin, sulfur, diamond, water, pure

sugar (sucrose), table salt (sodium chloride) and baking soda (sodium
bicarbonate). Crystals, in general, are pure substances.
 Tin, sulfur, and diamond are examples of pure substances which
are chemical elements. All elements are pure substances. Sugar, salt, and
baking soda are pure substances which are compounds. Examples of pure
substances which are crystals include salt, diamond, protein crystals, and
copper sulfate crystals.
 Depending on who you talk to, homogeneous mixtures may be considered
examples of pure substances. Examples of homogeneous mixtures include
vegetable oil, honey, and air. While these substances contain multiple types
of molecules, their composition is consistent throughout a sample. If you
add soot to air, it ceases to be a pure substance. Contaminants in water
make it impure.
 Ang dulang panlangsangan ay isang uri ng dula na ginaganap sa
lansangan. Ilan sa mga halimbawa nito ay ang mga sumusunod:
1.Panunuluyan
Ginaganap tuwing bisperas ng Pasko. Ito ay paghahanap ng bahay na
matutuluyan ng Mahal na Birhen sa pagsilang kay Hesukristo
2. Salubong
Ito ay isang prusisyon na ginaganap sa madaling-araw ng Linggo ng
Pagkabuhay.
3. Tibag
Pagsasadula ng paghahanap ng Krus na pinagpakuan kay Kristo nina
Reyna Elena at Prinsipe Constantino. Ginaganap tuwing Mayo sa mga
lalawigan ng Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Bataan, Rizal.
4. Senakulo
Ito ay tradisyonal na pagsasadula ng mga pangyayari hinggil sa
mga dinanas ni Hesukristo bago at pagkaraang ipako siya sa krus.
