Narrator : Since man has seen recent discoveries in the field of health and recovery, millions

and their lives had been saved and have had diseases revoked access from their bodies.

Doc : Don’t be shocked Maam but I have good news and bad news. Good news is you’re
beautiful, bad news is you have been diagnosed with skin cancer

Woman : Sure nana doc? No joke?

Doc : Yes but you’re lucky since it’s still at the first stage and is easily cureable

Narrator : But through all the resent advancements, we had once existed in a world where the
modern miracle of medicine did not exist

(diri mo gawas 10, take mic – ingon ilaha names)

Narrator : where hospitals were not present.

A world where the presence of technology is not seen. Join us, as we explore

(act beat(humba, humba, humba, background projector for primitive )

Narrator : the primitive world and how they tended to wounds, to illness, and to the injuries of
their time.

Narrator : Here we have the primitive man. Not a care in the world and worries of only finding
food(start moving, simhot tae, talikod), water, reproduction, and shelter

(gawas Hannah as buffalo duol sa board para mauban sa buffalo nga projection)

Coronal Suture: Ato ini bai tua ra atong sugbahonon

Narrator : Primitive women were responsible for gathering things that require less danger and
physical effort, they were shocked to see their leader heavily injured.

(pause) (shocked and start picking up herbs) .

Narrator : One day, after he leads his men into a herd of wild buffalo and though they were
skilled through the teachings of their ancestors, they had failed during this hunt. The worst
happening to their leader, Coronal Suture. Coronal Suture was brought ( guyod ) to their local
recovery hut made of only mud, stone, and leaves. He suffers (sulod si mark) from internal
bleeding through multiple punctures in his liver, kidneys, and intestines through being impaled.
Narrator : Since antibiotics and modern medical techniques have not yet been invented, Coronal
Suture suffers more internal damage due to the improper handling of his wounds as seen
through his peers poor technique.

Narrator : The primitive man noticed that if you put certain leaves into open wounds(witch
doctor) (powder, leaves, song = humba) the pain would be reduced and swelling would be
lessened. Here, they discovered the beginnings of what was to become of modern
medicine.(pause)

Witch Doc : Dong ayo naka dong nawala na ang barang nga gipadala sa imo gikan sa ubang
tribo

Coronal Suture : ok nako doc murag nawala na tanan sakit

Narrator : Coronal did not recover and died shortly after. The primitive era could not stop the
internal hemorrhages with further damages due to his peers carrying him wrongly and the witch
doctors believed that his death was due to a curse inflicted on him.

Mark : Mutuo mog barang? Namatay ni siya tungod sa gaba nga ngipadala sa kalaban na tribo

Many of his tribesmen mourned his death and tended to their less serious injuries.

(after the ritual, nabantayan ni john nga sakit gihapon iyaha tiil)

Squamous : sakit mn kaayo gihapon ni

Lambdoid Suture : Oo ako sab gani, gaina pasad ni sigeg ngul ngul

(women tended to their injured men)

Narrator : Here, we see cloth woven from the fur of hunted animals covering their open
wounds, preventing the surrounding elements such as insects and dirt to find a portal of entry.
The primitive man was unaware of the existence in many things which mostly caused their
untimely demise and their population decline.

Narrator : The primitive world was full of many things that shortened and ended the lives of man
in many fashions. One of these was the lack of knowledge in technique, in medicine, and diet.
