Political Crime
 Is an offense committed with the intent to harm a federal, state, or local
government under certain conditions
Treason- is when a person does something to deliberately betray their country.
Sedition- Conduct or speech inciting people to rebel against the authority of a
state or monarch.
Rebellion- An act or violent or open resistance to an established government or
ruler
Coup d’état- Also called Coup, the sudden, violent overthrow of an existing
government by a small group.
Espionage- The practice spying or using spies typically by governments to
obtain political military information.
Public Order Crime
 Commonly known as “Victimless Crime” a legal offense to which all
parties consent and no party is injured.
Drunkenness- means being intoxicated by alcohol. This means a person's brain
and body are not working normally, because of the alcohol they have had. A
person who is intoxicated is usually called drunk or '"Sabra"'.
Vagrancy- Is the condition of homelessness without
regular employment or income. Vagrants usually live in poverty and support
themselves by begging, garbage scraping, theft, temporary, or welfare (where
available).
Prostitution or non-forced sex offenses- A prostitute is a person, most of the
time a woman, who has sex with people for money. Prostitution is sometimes
called the "world's oldest profession".
Gambling- play games of chance for money; bet.
Drug Addiction- also called substance use disorder, is a disease that affects a
person's brain and behavior and leads to an inability to control the use of a
legal or illegal drug or medication. Substances such as alcohol, marijuana and
nicotine also are considered drugs. When you're addicted, you may continue
using the drug despite the harm it causes.
Conventional Crime
 are those traditional, illegal behaviors that most people think of as crime
Robbery- the action of taking property unlawfully from a person or place by
force or threat of force.
Larceny- Theft of personal property. The unauthorized taking of another
person's property with the intent to permanently deprive them of the use of the
property.
Burglary- entry into a building illegally with intent to commit a crime,
especially theft.

Organized Crimes
 Criminal activities that are planned and controlled by powerful groups
and carried out on a large scale.
Racketeering- Refers to crimes committed through extortion or coercion.
Commercialized vice-The unlawful promotion of or participation in sexual
activities for profit.
Professional Crimes
 Crimes committed by persons for whom criminally punishable acts are a
permanent occupation andthe primary source of money. Persons who en
gage in professional crime have the skills and means
necessary for criminal activity and specialize in some particular type of
crime.
Confidence game- is an attempt to defraud a person or a group by gaining their
confidence.
Forgery- the action of forging or producing a copy of a document, signature,
banknote, or work of art.
Counterfeiting- imitate fraudulently.
Pickpocketing- the action of stealing from a person's pockets
Pickpocketing is a form of larceny that involves the stealing of money or other
valuables from the person or a victim without them noticing the theft at the
time.
Individuals involved in the first four of this behavioral system usually do not
consider themselves as criminals. Indeed, those committing political crimes
actually violate the law as a matter of consciences.
Criminals of the first two types of engage in individual offenses with little or no
group support and in direct violation of the society’s standards of legitimate
behavior. Only the occupational or “white-collar” crimes fail to elicit strong
societal reactions.
