Message from the CEO

§ I would like to sincerely apologize for my comments made on the

radio show. It was insensitive of me to exclude some very
important members of our Barilla family. We have fallen short of
everyone’s expectations and I take full responsibility for that. We
at Barilla have always had family values at our core and what
describes a family is acceptance for all its members for whoever
they are. My comments were not inclusive and going forward
you will see Barilla family showcasing love of the family
irrespective of their individual identities. It was certainly not my
intent and as a member of this family, I believe you will accept
my apology.
