1.2 PNR Pricing (FastFare)
No PNR Pricing (FastFare) is a function which allows quick and easy-to-use formats to price a
multi-leg itinerary without creating a PNR. By simply entering a string of up to 16 city codes you
can obtain as many as 19 different fares including all applicable taxes and fees.
The No PNR Pricing function will find the lowest fare without having to validate all of the fare
rule provisions when dates are not provided.
In addition, the Sabre® computer reservation system performs the proper minimum fare and
combinability checks to ensure that the fare quoted is accurate.
No PNR Pricing substantially decreases the time required to quote a price for an entire journey
because there is no need to book segments or create a PNR.
Two different types of qualifiers may be used to request No PNR Pricing.
• Segment Qualifiers
• General Qualifiers
Note: New advisory messages will be displayed in the open segment booking response
to notify the user of rule conditions that must be met when the flights are
actually booked for pricing and ticketing.
Multiple Global Indicators may be entered into an itinerary to specify the direction of travel for
each fare market. A Global Indicator may be entered between each city pair.
There are three ways to access FastFare:
• Format entries
• Format entries which convert to a fill-in mask
• Fill-in mask

Qualifiers
Segment qualifiers define information related to specific segments of a journey. They are placed
within the basic No PNR Pricing (FastFare) entry before the city, or between the cities, to which
they apply. A slash is used to separate multiple segment qualifiers, unless noted otherwise.
General qualifiers define information related to an entire journey rather than specific segments.
They are placed at the end of a basic No PNR Pricing (FastFare) entry, preceded by a dash. A
slash is used to separate multiple general qualifiers.

Pricing uses all current pricing capabilities as if pricing from an open ( -DS- ) itinerary.
