I. OBJECTIVES
A. Learning Competencies In ICT 7, the students will learn the basic computer operations
and computer concepts, functions of computer and their parts, ethical
issues in technology, keyboarding, technology communication tools,
technology resource tools, multimedia presentation applications, word
processing applications, and social media.
B. Learning Outcome At the end of the first quarter, the students would be able to
identify the basic computer concepts and its elements, the processes
involve in an information system, the components of computer system,
the computer history and development, the applications, advantages
and disadvantages of the computer in the society.
The students would also be able to showcase their confidence in
using the Word Processing by composing articles where they are to
incorporate the basic operations and techniques in using the Word
Processor.
C. Learning Objectives (KSA) At the end of the lesson the students should be able to:
a. Identify the main components of the user interface.
b. Identify the purpose of the commands on the menu bar.

IV. PROCEDURES
A. Establishing a purpose Show the pictures to the students and let them identify them. These
for the lesson pictures are real objects that can be also seen like in the MS Word
Screen/Interface.
