A. Preparation

2. Motivation Call 10 boys to fall in line. Let’s assume that you are in the Flagpole for Flag Raising Ceremony. How can we arrange them? What values are we going to show when we are singing the Philippine National Anthem? (Instill the value of patriotism) (Let them arrange themselves from shortest to tallest)

B. Presentation

a. Who is number 1in the line? Number 2? Number 3? Etc. Have them name the children by saying:

(Name Pupil) is the number 1 boy in the line; he is the 1 st boy in the line. (Name Pupil) is the number 2 boy in the line; he is the 2 nd boy in the line. (And so on)

b. Game

Group the pupils into 3. Give each group a set of ordinal number cards. Objects are arranged in a line on the table. The teacher will say an ordinal number. Pupils will match the ordinal number with the object on the table. The first to match it gets a point. The group with the greatest number of points wins.
