BEST STUDENT OF THE YEAR


The Student of the Year Award is awarded to the students who have the potential to serve as
role models for other students. This award is to recognize the outstanding performance and
achievement of learners in academics, leadership and social responsibility, among other aspects of
student’s progress and development

Criteria:
1. Ethical Leadership
a. Practice good leadership through participation in student organizations and inspire
others to also display ethical behavior (20 pts)
20 pts – served as president in an organization which initiates and accomplishes

15 pts – served as president in an organization, initiated and participated in

10 pts – served as president in an organization, initiated program and project but


without accomplishment
5 pts - member of an organization and participated in programs and projects
2. Community Service
a. Has made a significant contribution to the school community (20 pts)

3. Moral Character
a. Shows qualities of respect, responsibility, and integrity (20 pts)

a. Displays excellent oral and written communication skill (20 pts)

OUTSTANDING PARENT OF THE YEAR
The nominee is evaluated by his/her exceptional leadership and excellence in the course of his
contribution to humanity in general. In the essence, proof of nominee’s outstanding leadership and
excellence in his field of endeavor as well as his paralleled contributions to society constitute the basis
for the Parent of the Year.
Nominee must be Good parents are always quick to offer academic support and cultivate solid
study habits in their kids as early as possible and a member of Parent Teachers Association
Nominee’s achievements and contributions to their school are must address to the selection
committee
Nominee must have disclosed material facts and information whether favorable and or
unfavorable to give an objective and complete profile of the nominee for the Search, Screening and
Judging Committee.

Criteria:
1. Service to the community (40 pts)
40 pts – initiated and accomplished program and projects for school
30 pts – initiated and participated in programs and projects for school
20 pts – participated only in programs and projects of the school
2. Professional excellence and integrity in their respective field of endeavor (40 pts)
40 pts – establishes good rapport with school administrator, teachers, parents,
Students and co-officers
30 pts – establishes good rapport with teachers, parents, students and co-officers
20 pts – establishes good rapport with parents, students and co-officers
3. Leadership, including moral rectitude, innovativeness and pioneering spirits
20 pts – displays high moral and integrity and receptive to change at all time
10 pts – displays high moral and integrity and receptive to change most of the time
5 pts – displays high moral and integrity and receptive to change always
