Kinds of sentences

There are mainly four types of sentences:


1. Declarative
2. Imperative
3. Interrogative
4. Exclamatory

The declarative sentence merely makes a statement. The imperative sentence


expresses a command, order or request. The interrogative sentence asks a question
and the exclamatory sentence expresses a sudden emotion.
