Extra Curricular Activities

 Volunteer for the “NLUD-Amnesty India project on Criminal Justice & Human Rights.” The
project focuses on effective implementation of Section 436A, Cr.P.C. in Tihar Jail, New Delhi
and involves identifying undertrial prisoners in Tihar who are eligible for bail by virtue of
Section 436A; documenting such cases; and taking steps to secure bail for the prisoners
identified.
 Led a team of about 15 volunteer and dealt with Research Analysis & Evaluation,
Management, Outreach and Strategic Planning, in the “Banking law & financial Regulation
Conference” in 2011 which is organized by NLU Delhi in association with Classical Law and
Indian Corporate Counsel Association (ICCA).
 Participated in the workshop on “New Perspective on Intellectual Property Right Teaching”
jointly organized by NLU Delhi , Asian Law Center , School of Law, University of Washington
(UW) USA & WB National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata, from 4-5 march 2012.
 Participated as Volunteers in the 28th all India Inter University Moot Court Competition
organized by BAR COUNCIL OF INDIA TRUST in association with NLU Delhi on 10th to 12th
march, 2012.
 Have been in the organizing committee on National seminar on “CONSUMER PROTECTION :
NEW CHALLENGES” Organized by National Law University Delhi in Collaboration with Centre
for Consumer Studies , IIPA, New Delhi and led the whole team which dealt with Research
Analysis & Evaluation, Management, Outreach and Strategic Planning, and arrange the fund
for this conference by Hon’ble Shri Ram Vilas Paswan Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and
Public Distribution, Which was held in NLU Delhi from 19-20 February 2016.
 Participated in the training program on Water CONFLICTE IN INDIA: Legal & Institutional
Framework for conflict prevention and resolution, held at national law university Delhi on
6th-7th September 2015.
 Participated in International conference on Access to legal Information & research in digital
Age (ICALIRDA -2012) jointly organized by National Law University Delhi, SAARCLAW &
Mohan law house from 29 February to 02 march at National Law University Delhi.
 Organized four legal aid camps in Govt. schools and in public area on consumer Protection,
awareness & sensitization, by giving lectures and resolving disputes with mediation / Judicial
Interference with the help of Delhi Legal Services Authorities DLSA.
 Worked with the university’s Legal Aid Clinic in registering grievances in the Bharat Vihar area
of New Delhi. The grievances recorded varied from property disputes to simple
documentation concerns including that of ration cards, birth certificates, Aadhar cards etc.
The first stage of the work concerned recording complaints. The second stage involved in
taking the cases forward either to the relevant authorities or lawyers.
 Worked with government department (Intellectual Property Office), in resettled the dispute
on trademark through mediation.
 Did Counseling for the juveniles by visiting the Juvenile home.
Organisational Experience

 Elected Representative to the Mess Committee of 2013-15

 I have been a part of the organizational committee for KAIROS 2014, the cultural festival
organized by National Law University, Delhi.
 I have been a part of the organization committee of the Prof. Ghanshyam Singh Memorial
debate 2011-2013.
