Basics and Editing

Basic Display Navigation


mouse scroll – zoom
mouse scroll press – pan
mouse scroll double click – zoom extents

Defaults
View menu – grid and editing plane display
Standard toolbar – guidelines, special snap points, tracker,
trace, element snap

Select Tools
Arrow – pick
selection – partial (crossing), entire (window), direction dependent (cad)
geometry – polygonal, rectangular, rotated rectangular
quick select on, selection type normal
autosnaps – check icon
wall hierarchy – inverted Y icon

guidelines – click dot to set, click drag to move, Shift while moving to
ortho lock then D for distance set, rollover dot then
Esc to erase
Marquee
selection – current floor, all floors
geometry – polygonal, rectangular, rotated rectangular

Model View shortcuts


F2 – plan view
F3 – shows 3d view
F5 – shows 3d selection view
