What is your understanding of computer forensics' image analysis?

Image analysis for the computer forensic (FIP) can involves the restoration of computer and
images of surveillance enhancement. The main goal of FIP is to extract the information form the
images of surveillance and maximize them especially for those which images are noisy, over &
under exposed & the incomplete images. Although the following description would be for the
image analysis for the image surveillance, there will be different techniques of FIP would be
applied to the other images types such as shoes impress images, infrared images of UAV
(Unmanned Arial Vehicle), retinal images etc. [1]

Which tool would you choose for your investigation?
OpenCV would be chosen for the investigation. OpenCV is called Open Source Computer Vision
which is the library and open source tool for the programming function and can be aimed at real-
time computer vision. [2]
Why did you choose this tool?
OpenCV is the opensource library can be easy to implement everywhere. The processing of this
tool will be very fast and the result from this tool can be very efficient and accurate according to
the need of computer forensic. Now this tool will be using for the surveillance everywhere in the
world to the recognition from the image because its processing speed will be very fast and can be
used with every type of programming language by linking up the library of its to the programming
language you used & by installing the tool library. There will be many SOA algorithm will be
implemented in this tool. [3]
What benefits does it have over the other tools you have heard about?
The benefit of the chosen tool over the other tool will be as:
 It will be available free of cost
 Its is very fast because it will be written in the programming language of c/c++.
 Ram usage is very low because its usage would be 60 to 70 mb approx.
 OpenCV is portable and can be run on every device which can support the C and run C

What are the disadvantages of this tool?
Disadvantages of chosen tool are:
 It cannot provide the ease of use when it would be compared to the MATLAB.
 The library of the OpenCV is flann, because this would causes the issues of conflict when
the library of the OpenCV would be used with combining with the library of PCL. [4]
