Polaris-12
Polaris, or the pole star, lies less than one degree
from the north celestial pole and has served as a
stellar beacon leading explorers and navigators to
their destination since the beginning of time.
Similarly, Infranor has been, and continues to be, a
leader in the manufacture of performance flood-
lighting products. The Infranor Polaris-12 continues
this leadership by offering proven reflector technologies
in a new architectural shape. Everything from 100W to
175W in the Polaris-6 and from 250W to 1000W in the
Polaris-12 is now available in one architectural family.

DESIGN FORM
An aesthetically pleasing shape helps to accentuate the
surrounding architecture and makes this product ideal for
monument, sign, and facade lighting. Our precision die-cast
methods allow for sharp distinctive lines and eliminate the need
for most external fasteners. The efficient design (18.00" W x 15.41"
H x 12.33" D) includes integral heat sink fins for cooler operation
and longer component life and will operate lamps up to 400W
with an integral ballast and up to 1000W with a remote ballast.
MOUNTING
Heavy Duty Swivel:

As a standard feature the Polaris-12 includes the most robust, die-
cast swivel available in the market today. Regardless of mounting 140˚

The Infranor Polaris-12 also comes standard with an Arc Stream
Aligner in all of the horizontally lamped metal halide options.
The Arc Stream Aligner is a patented device (pat. # 5,111,371)
that ensures that the arc stream itself is in the optical design
center. In normal installations, the effect of gravity causes the
arc to bow upward – away from the design center. The Arc
Stream Aligner is a cam-mounted device that allows for
rotation of the lamp and repositions the arc stream into the
focal point, increasing efficiency and optimizing optical
performance while decreasing unwanted spill light. arc stream aligner
