NterOne Resource Guide – Cisco DCINX9K v1.

0 – Pods 11 and 12

The NterOne Resource Guide – Cisco DCINX9K v1.0 provides specific details about how the NterOne lab
environment is configured. This document is a supplement to the NterOne Lab Guide – Cisco DCINX9K v1.0 and is
necessary to successfully complete the lab exercises during your class.
This version of the Resource Guide is written specifically for Pods 11 and 12 within the Nexus 9000 Lab Rack. If
you are using a different Pod please ask your class instructor to provide you the correct version of the Resource
Guide.

Accessing the Lab Devices in this Resource Guide


The steps that you will need to perform in order to access the NterOne lab environment are detailed in Lab 0 -
Accessing the NterOne Lab Devices, which is located in the Lab Guide.

Pods and Pod Pairs


The lab devices used during this class are divided into Pods and Pod Pairs:
 A Pod is a set of lab devices (hardware and software) that is configured by one or two students.
 A Pod Pair is a set of two Pods that may be required to work together to perform certain lab exercise tasks.
Each Pod contains the following hardware:
 One Cisco Nexus 93128TX Switch
