Graduating in Arq. & Urb.
The choice of metallic cover gives a different aesthetic in Messejana, but leaves a mark
in the identity of the Iron Architecture in Fortaleza.
In this market, a large covering of over 3000m³ covers the market, which has a gutter
every 20 meters of decay. Its sandwich tile is supported by pillars and lattice beams, all
well exposed, giving an industrial charm to the market. It also features tensioned rope
supports to support the balance of market extremes, and the polycarbonate protection
filters out part of the sun, protects it from rain and adds X-lattice charm.
The gastronomic market has 54 open boxes, all the same internal size, 3 sets of male
and female bathrooms, both normal and wheelchair; accessibility of ramps that
streamline the flow of the market through the boxes, a large corridor that draws large
spaces for people to concentrate on all floors of the market; a junfo stage with a large
space for high flow and crowds, 45 midsize car spaces, administrative area, training
area, exhibition area and more.
The detailing of the Box consists of a masonry wall with mortar, the ceramic floor and
it is originally all open, as it appears in the internal render of the market. The image
below serves as an example of a coffee box with countertop, coffee maker and sink.
This is for those who pay for the box stand having freedom control over how they
prefer to do it, but allowing free access to the box and avoiding mixing competing
boxes.
The market has a striking contrast to the area. It has three strengths of flow: the
Messejana Terminal, Messejana Square and Messejana Fair, in addition to the
Messejana Lagoon which is also a strong point. Thus, the market was designed to have
large internal spaces to cope with the high flow of people that passes between the
Messejana Square / Terminal and the Messejana Fair.
Not only does it seek to ease the flow, it also seeks to complement these three points,
with cozy inside spaces, a stage for presentations and a phenomenal height, protecting
the market, but leaving internal streams of light, inlet ventilation. and output
unchanged, and being a visually architectural landmark
STAR CAMP
COMMUNITY
The Star Camp region, located in Jangurussu, is an extremely
precarious place, with few leisure options and infrastructure
below the minimum. In this case, we suggest selecting certain
areas to implement plans that provide assistance for all ages,
both young and old.
DIORAMA
COURSES
I attended several different courses at Diorama, a company that
offers courses, a free school in architecture. Here are some of my
learnings and productions there.
Bucket => V-Ray Rendering via SketchUp, and Photoshop Post Production
Banca => InDesign Layout
Collage => Photoshop collage production with SketchUp images
Semi-Arid => Lins office teachings about how they design in the crato
region.
