Whether you’re a regular part of our church or just visiting, it’s great to

have you with us today. Please stay after the service for a drink and a chat
so that we can get to know you better.

In all our church meetings, community involvement, and day to day

lives, we want Jesus to be at the centre.
We’re in a series called “Extraordinary Nobodies”,
looking at some of the “minor” characters in the Bible -
what Hollywood might call the “bit players”. That’s
kind of a loose description though, because God has a
habit of taking some of those minor characters and
giving them huge impact in the most unlikely ways.
Like Rahab, the Canaanite woman that we’re reading
about in Joshua 2 today.

Please bring your Bibles with you to follow the passages

read. If you’d like to borrow one, please ask a steward.
Our main reading today is Joshua 2:1-21
