In a nutshell, it is the fusion of our strengths and weaknesses that define us.

Thus, it is essential that

we understand and develop the ability to recognize and grow from our own personal strengths and
weaknesses.

STRENGTHS:

Self motivation is my strongest attribute. As a self motivated person, I am always pepped up to leave
no stone unturned in accomplishing my set target. Being self motivated helps me to concentrate and
work tirelessly, regardless of any situational odds. My focused personality is a result of staying self
motivated and my strong and consistent academic accolades bear a testimony to this fact. Self
motivation has truly helped me to nurture my other abilities. It has complemented my resiliency,
confidence and energy and also helped me excel in the arena of extracurricular activities. I did my
schooling in various parts of India, starting from Gujarat to Tamil Nadu. Every single time I moved, I
joined a school in its midsession. Adjusting to a whole new environment was difficult. However,
staying self motivated and focused enabled me to improve my adaptability and sustain my overall
performance. Thus, I have realized that self motivation is the key to unlock my goals.

My inherent proactive attitude coupled with a thirst to explore things makes me an inquisitive
learner. I have a knack of going into the depth of any topic and this keenness has helped me to
widen my research based and detail oriented approach. My curiosity allows me to make a conscious
effort to understand causes instead of just the effects to comprehend and solve any problem. Being
an inquisitive learner has showed me the gamut of opportunities for anybody with the urge of
learning and looking at things with a fresh perspective. It has helped me take up a lot of research
based work in the college, and has been pivotal for my internship with NDTV. This quest to learn and
unearth new ideas with a core focus on innovation and creativity is one of my biggest assets.

WEAKNESSESS:

I admit to being a performance oriented person and take a great deal of pride in the work I do. I
have learnt that the best way to accomplish any task is to devote our complete efforts in doing the
task, rather than worrying about its outcome. However, sometimes I do get performance conscious
and very nervous about the outcome and this slightly diverts me from focusing solely on the action
of the work. Instead, I tend to worry about the result. I hope that with experience and maturity, I will
learn to overcome this nervousness. Also, due to the pressure of performance, I have a tendency to
take on too much of work on my own. I am already working on the same, by delegating more.
