Mag review ka muret.

1. What is your definition of victory?; For me, victory is more than just winning. Even in
failure, you’re still victorious if you learned something, if you gave it your best shot, the ultimate
victory is derived from the satisfaction of knowing that you have done your best and that you
have gotten the most out of what you had to give. Satisfaction lies in the effort, not the
attainment. Full effort is full victory.
2. What is a perfect leader?; as a Public Administration and Governance student, I can say
that the perfect leader isn’t someone who proclaims himself to be a leader. The best leaders are
those who are acknowledged by the people through his or her excellence, one who serves as a
beacon of light, a role model for everyone to follow. A leader is someone who knows the way,
goes the way and shows the way.
3. Do you think that the youth of today faces more pressure than the previous generation? Why?;
yes, they face greater pressure than their predecessors due to the ever changing world
we live in. dependence in technology, unstable environments and high expectations plague the
youth no matter what the era but always remember this, Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and
courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with
you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
4. What do you expect to gain in participating at this pageant?; becoming a part of such a
prestigious pageant is already an achievement for me. I do know that after this competition, I
expect to be a better version of myself. Through this pageant, I will experience a lot of new stuff
that’ll surely help me out someday because I do know that one pure form of knowledge is
experience.
5. If you had one question to the world, what would it be and why?; are you living or just
existing? Because there’s a huge difference with them. To exist means to go on daily without
purpose while to live means to make the most out of every second of our lives, to do what we
have to, to go where we want to, to love who we want to. Time is limited and we’ve only got
one life to live. So if the world can hear me right now, stop existing and start living.
6. How do you define mr and ms TSU?; mr and ms tsu is one of the highlights of our university,
a prestigious pageant where we find out who’s the best of the best, where the university’s finest
students are gathered together. If I were to define mr and ms tsu in one sentence, “WE” are Mr
and ms TSU
7. If you won the lottery, what would you do with your winnings?; I’ll be overjoyed for a while but
I won’t lose track of what really matters. I’ll give my parents the life that I’ve always wanted to
give them. I’ll invest and save, give back to those who are in need and enjoy life. Money may be
able to buy temporary happiness but true happiness and satisfaction will forever be priceless.
8. If you will win tonight, how will you promote the importance of education to your fellow
TSUians? Utilizing both social media and the recognition that one will gain from winning
this pageant, I will emphasize to my fellow students on how knowledge will always be one of our
keys to success and that Education is a privilege that we should never take for granted. To every
student out there, do know that beauty fades but knowledge and wisdom remains forever.
9. This October, we are celebrating teacher’s month. What is the most important lesson you have
learned? To be a teacher is to inspire your students, to mold them into the best that they can
be. I’ve learned that we seldom recognize their sacrifices for their students. I hope we can give
back the credit that our teachers deserve because I believe that A good teacher is like a candle
that consumes itself to light the way for others.
10. This year, TSU has accepted the first batch of k-12 students. What is your message to them?;
I’ll tell them to be strong and to not be afraid of trials and mistakes. Everything is an
opportunity to learn something new, never be afraid of failures for they are still valuable in
teaching us how to be a better version of ourselves. I believe that Failure is simply the
opportunity to begin again. This time more intelligently.
11. What can you do to fight fake news?; fake news or misinformation is an epidemic that has
spread vastly but there are ways to stop its propagation such as responsible use of social media,
proper information dissemination and being a critical thinker to name a few. We will combat
fake news with facts. Keep in mind that the truth shall set you free.
12. What is the most important quality of being a student of TSU?; it is being resilient. We TSUians
are tough warriors, able to adapt under any circumstances, getting through any hardships that
we encounter in our daily lives. I believe that we TSUians have what it takes what it takes to take
victory within our grasps. We can be changed by events but we refuse to be reduced by it.
13. When is the right time to speak and when is the right time to listen?; I believe that you
should think before you speak and you should listen before you think. A conversation is of great
value only when both you and them gain knowledge. Overall, to be a good speaker, you have to
be a good listener.
14. How do you define tarlac state university on a visitor?; tarlac state university is an institute
that nurtures us to be fine professionals someday. It is a place where we know that our safety is
guaranteed. A place where we are equipped with the necessary skills for our desired courses
and a place where we are groomed to be children of peace and prosperity. Put simply, for us,
TSU is our second home.
15. Give us your thought to internet censorship?; internet censorship has its merits but I believe
that it is all about being a responsible user. Internet censorship will deprive us of information
and it can be used to inhibit our freedom of expression and it is stated on article 3 or bill of
rights section 4 that No law shall be passed abridging the freedom of speech, of expression, or
of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble and petition the Government for
redress of grievances.
16. Do you agree on Dee the lyrics of the national anthem?; it might be on good intentions but I
believe that we should respect the history of our nation and our heroes who came before us,
those who laid down their lives for our country. the final line signifies the sacrifices of our
predecessors and it reminds us that up to this day still, the filipino is worth dying for.
17. Why do you deserve to be crowned the next mr tsu?; mr and ms tsu is one of the highlights of
our university. The winner of such a prestigious pageant should be at the pinnacle of every
aspect, not just appearance-wise and intelligent-wise but also attitude wise. He should be a role
model for all of the students, a beacon of light that shines through and I do believe, that that
man is standing right in front of you right now, thank you.
