What are the different types of zone files are present in
the bind ?
db.DOMAIN

--> This is the Zone file which maps hostnames into addresses.

--> Contains following resource records in the Zone file such as:

i) A Record --> To translate hostnames into IP Address Unfollow

ii) SOA Record --> Indicates the Name Server is an Authoritative Server
For all the new updates, enter your email
iii) NS Record --> Indicates the Primary and Secondary Name Servers address

iv) Alias Records --> Contains CNAME Records Email address... Submit

--> This is the Zone file which maps addresses into hostnames. Search This Blog
