THE DESIGN OF THE FISHING VESSEL ≥ 20 GT WITH A GILL NET CAPTURE TOOL

ABSTRAK

Gunungkidul Regency is one of 5 districts in the province, with a coastline of DIY ±

70 miles, in 2011 the fishermen of DIY poverty are included in the Group of five fishermen
and large poverty rates are highest for fish farmers nationwide. This does not escape because
most of the ship at the disposal of fishermen are between 1-5 GT, with a wave of high water
conditions resulted in the capture of the fish is extremely limited.

On this design aims to obtain the size of the ship has a speed ≥ 20GT, resistance,
stability, as well as though a better ship motion. Design method of fishing boats using this
comparison method with the main size as its parameters. The main measure resulting from
the calculation obtained Lwl: 15.11 m, b: 4.20 m, T: 1.30 m, h: 1.80 m, Cb: 0,52. After the
primary measure is obtained then a feasibility analysis of ship's hull can be obtained from the
support ship design software.

These ships use an Inboard diesel engine with power generated by the 150 HP, from
the results of the analysis obtained the value of the barriers of 14.58 KN on Vmax 10 knots.
On review, the results of stability analysis shows the value of GZ and biggest capsizes period
occurred while the ship was empty, on the condition and value of the largest MG occurred
while the vessel has a full charge and period 5-6.9 oleng s. On review of sports movement,
this ship has a proven good motion processing does not occur on a slight surge of wetness
decks, moderate and rough water. Then on the general arangement image results, the ship has
enough space to SHIP CREW and accommodate the fish cargo a lot more ± 11 tons, setting
up safety equipment, navigation and communications equipment. In terms of Profile
construction has met the standards on the rule of Imperial construction class ship BKI wood.

ABSTRAK

Kabupaten Gunungkidul merupakan salah satu dari 5 kabupaten / kota di Propinsi DIY,
dengan garis pantai sepanjang ± 70 km, pada tahun 2011 kemiskinan nelayan di Provinsi DIY
termasuk dalam kelompok lima besar tingkat kemiskinan nelayan dan pembudidaya ikan
tertinggi secara nasional. Hal ini tidak terlepas karena sebagian besar kapal yang di miliki
nelayan berukuran antara 1-5 GT, dengan kondisi perairan gelombang yang tinggi
mengakibatkan daerah penangkapan ikan sangatlah terbatas.
Pada perancangan ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan ukuran kapal ≥ 20GT yang
memiliki kecepatan, hambatan, stabilitas, serta olah gerak kapal yang lebih baik. Metode
perancangan kapal penangkap ikan ini menggunakan comparison method dengan ukuran
utama sebagai parameternya. Ukuran utama yang dihasilkan dari perhitungan di dapatkan
Lwl: 15,11 m, B: 4,20 m, T: 1,30 m, H: 1,80 m, Cb:0,52. Setelah ukuran utama didapatkan
maka analisa kelayakan lambung kapal bisa didapatkan dari software pendukung
perancangan kapal.
Kapal ini menggunakan sebuah mesin diesel Inboard dengan daya yang dihasilkan
sebesar 150 HP, dari hasil analisa di dapatkan nilai hambatan sebesar 14,58 KN pada Vmax 10
knot. Pada tinjauan stabilitas, hasil analisa menunjukkan nilai GZ dan periode oleng terbesar
terjadi saat kapal pada kondisi kosong, dan nilai MG terbesar terjadi pada saat kapal muatan
penuh dan memiliki periode oleng 5 - 6,9 s. Pada tinjauan olah gerak, kapal ini memiliki olah
gerak yang baik terbukti tidak terjadi deck wetness pada gelombang slight, moderate dan
rough water. Kemudian pada hasil gambar rencana umum, kapal memiliki space yang cukup
untuk ABK, menampung muatan ikan lebih banyak ± 11 Ton, menata peralatan keselamatan,
peralatan komunikasi dan navigasi. Dari segi Profil construction telah memenuhi standar
kelas BKI tentang aturan konstuksi kapal kayu.
