 Putonin is a combination of two Filipino favorite “meryenda” or snack which is

puto and kakanin with a melt sinakob on the top and cheese at the bottom.

COMPANY NAME: MAKABAGONG PANLASA

 Describe as a company which portray the distinct culture of the Philippines that

establish a new innovation of meryenda or snack in the country. Makabagong

Panlasa company creates new taste of Filipino snack

NATURE OF THE BUSINESS

Appetite is a great component in dealing with foods that promotes a harmonious

circulation of excitement that can create a standard of fulfillment in our stomach. The

culture of our country is something rich varieties in different kind of thing especially in

food. Food that makes Filipino happy and comfortable the way they taste the classic

food that we have. Especially in what we called “meryenda” or snack in English. Snack

here in the Philippines is such a kind of norm and part of daily meal routine in the

country. This kind of business wants to explore and upgrade the Filipino meryenda

which is puto that will enhance its capability to be more pleasing to our appetite and

promotes its new form with a twist of another Filipino meryenda which is kakanin.

Putonin is something new to hear and something like gear of our culture and an

asset of pride in our country that only signifies how grit Filipino is in making new
products to dwell with. This product establish our identity as a Filipino in a way that this

snack is part of our lovely culture. This business also promotes a value of recreational

activities and a businesses minded personality especially to the students in today’s

generation wherein this business can be a sideline that can earn extra income. Putonin

seems so expensive and sophisticated in nature but behind its attributes you will not

distinguish that the ingredients of this product is much cheap than ever expected. This

product promotes the uniqueness and standard if how practical Filipino meryenda snack

is. Its all about making new innovation and reinventing the traditional in something new

taste, new form and new flavor to engage with. In addition, Putonin attribute a melting

sinakob or sweetened sugar at the top of Putonin and a cheese at the bottom and a

kakanin inside the puto to make it Putonin. That will complement the sweetness and

cheesiness of the product.

Culture makes the world function and if you will apply it with innovation it can create

a new composition. That’s represent our business product promoting uniqueness and a

collaboration of the two Filipino favorite snack into one new component snack and

create a new innovative snack in today’s time.
