We have some exciting news to announce, relating to a

strategic partnership entered into by Word of Life Bible

Institute and Davis College (formerly known as
Practical Bible College). Below is a shortened version
of WOL’s recent press release.

Recently, New York State and the according

accreditors approved Davis College’s decision to sell
their main campus, relocate to a smaller property in
Johnson City, and extend their program to Word of
Life’s New York campus ... the extension provides a pathway for second-year Word of Life students to
matriculate directly into Davis and complete a Bachelor of Religious Education degree — with an
emphasis in Christian Ministries — without ever leaving the New York Bible Institute campus, which
allows students to pursue higher education while still engaging in the enriching Word of Life
atmosphere.

Davis and the Bible Institute will continue as two separate entities but will operate with this shared
services agreement, which takes the strengths of these institutions and allows them to complement each
other. Between the Bible Institute’s intense and intimate discipleship program and Davis’s more
traditional collegiate approach to academics, students will receive a singular pedagogical experience
that equips them for service and leadership within the church, Christian organizations, and any other
space the Lord leads them.

In Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, the author states, “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for
their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has
no one to help them up.”
