I. Abstract
The social media site is also
used by advocacy groups and
related non-profit organizations as a
platform to communicate to the
public. This study aimed to
determine the behavior of SHS
students towards the social media.
We have conducted a survey to a
total of 50 SHS students from AMA
Computer College Tuguegarao City
Branch. Questionnaire Method was
used in collecting data. The study
revealed that majority of the
respondents .
II. Introduction
Social media refers to
platforms that are either web-based
or mobile applications which allow
individuals or organizations to create
and engage with user generated
content in digital environments (Deil-
Amen, 2016).
Web-based social networking
in training is utilized to cultivate
learning by taking into consideration
social connections, dynamic support,
and commitment of understudies in
classroom exchange,
correspondence (mixed/online
courses and web based life
arrangements). Internet based life
platform, as Facebook and twitter,
became genuinely combining with
various applications concentrating on
learning data, guidance or preparing.
Moment news report and suitability
makes the point that could be utilized
expediently and solid, yet the variety
aura makes it hard for educational
system to keep side by side and
balance.
Social media has been part of
human’s daily life in this generation.
It is convenient to use as a
communication, to get information,
and as an entertainment. In this
case, it will determine the behavior of
students from home, school and in
the community.
III. Statement of the Problem
Social networking platform
became greatly incorporated in the
manner people react, think and
relate with others. Media improved
the field of education and impact
learners, instructors, administrators
and parents greatly. This study
aimed to determine the impact of
social media on the behavior of
Senior High school students in
Tuguegarao City.
Also, it seeks to answer the
following questions.
